Please stop the tournament comparison discussion. Especially regarding players their runs (Stephano seems to be the current topic). Stay on topic and stick to the games. Consequences will be met out to further derailment.

The people screaming Bo1 is shit will beg to differ.
You can play the GSL format with BO1. It is just not round robin, where people who will advance for sure, throw their games.
His point was the GSL is played using Bo1s in the group stage.
No one suggesting DH should adopt GSL format wants BO1's, they want a better structure for the BO3's. If it's just throwing shit at GSL then who gives a shit, it's a pointless comment & out of place in a DH thread; if it's not stirring the pot, it's basically wrong.

You understand that if Naniwa lost, he would be out of the tourney right? Naniwa, one of the strongest contenders to win the tourney, you don't think Sheth wanted to get rid of him so he doesn't knock him out later?

Jesus.
nobody with half an intact braincell would ever call "threw the match" anyways under these circumstances....
The only problem I have with the format is the tie-breaker between two players should be head to head before +/-. For three way ties +/- naturally makes sense.
So happy right now, lot's of emotions, thought sheth wouldn't be able to make it, but then thought nani wouldn't be able and now they both succeeded <3
