Here we go again. This weekend is about good games and good fun. Don't rain on that parade. Play nice guys. Here's the very standard and friendly:
- NO Balance Whine. - NO Player Bashing. - NO Caster Bashing. - NO BM whatsoever.
Breaking these rules (from pg 166 forward) will be met with severe punishment. |

If Leenock wins, they play a best of 3 series. If Naniwa wins, he wins the championship. If Leenock wins the best of 3, it is extended to a best of 7 (taking the first best of 3 into account), winner take all. mlg is a joke. so every single mlg the finals are going to be unbalanced because whoever came from the winner bracket has a way easier chance. rofl
He doesn't know what he's talking about. It's two separate BO3's if Leenock wins. But obviously the winner bracket gets an advantage, that's the definition of a double elim tournament.

They call him DongRaeGu all the time during the GSL right?

I want Leenock to win because he doesn't have an extended series vs Naniwa, but I feel so bad for DRG because he's still one of my favourite players. :/
Also, wtf my stream's lagging so badly.

I'm a "BW elitist", I think BW ZvZ is a very good match-up, and that beginning of the game SC2 ZvZ is the only good match up in sc2...

They should keep the bo3 in the finals if the person challenging the championship pools came from the open bracket.

yes leenock is assured code s from his Ro8 so nani will be the highest placing non code s player

not sure, but idk why not, if DRG would win though, not sure what they would do with his code A matches

Better than NASL where Koreans played for months during crap hours, only to have Puma waltz in from the Open Bracket and take it.

For 750$? I highly doubt it. He has enough and if you know IdrA you would know he doesn't give a rats ass about the consolation. Wasn't there money on the line? Only 750 more and like I said earlier he doesn't need the money and he only cares about winning. The difference between 1 spot means very little to him. $750 is more money than he's won at most MLG events this season. And it's irrelevant because players like him and huk make most of their money off their contracts. It is getting paid $750 to win 2 games. There really is no excuse to not play that - I don't care who you are. No pro player is at the point where they should turn that down. Seems that should be a decision left to him and his management. yeah this is kind of ridiculous, he should be able to freely pick which matches he decide to play -_- would have loved to see haypro vs idra though, if they would have even casted it They never cast the consolation matches... so I have no idea why everyone is up in arms. If he doesn't want to potentially win the money leave him alone cause it doesn't affect what you get to see at all.
I think everyone is missing the point. Idra is essentially saying 30-40 minutes isn't worth $750 dollars to him. It's his job to play video games. He signed up for MLG Providence, is scheduled to play and is choosing not to.
That's pretty spoiled if you ask me. But I guess it's not a surprise, considering he asks for $300+ per hour of coaching.
He's free to play or not play in whatever games his team will let him, but that doesn't mean refusing to play isn't ungrateful/spoiled.

O_O He has always been pretty darn good. I think he had a combination of bad luck (losing to Liveforever, being in an up and down group of MKP and Nestea) and nerve issues early on in his career too. Glad to see hes playing up to his previous hype.
Even guys like Nestea has been tooting his horn as well. He labelled him the next big Zerg King in an interview.
Take it with a grain of salt.

Yea that's basically the idea. The guy who hasn't lost should be rewarded.
