If you try a mech composition and don't completely dominate every engagement, you will get run over because your resupply will be absurdly slow by comparison.
Also this is true. Tanks work extremely early (like during a 1-1-1) but if you are playing a basic macro game with a protoss tanks are pretty bad because they are nullified by so many things.

It's pretty simple - tanks lose to protoss because immortals are the hardest counter to them in the world and blink stalkers are also pretty good against them.

The more correct argument would be: do you see what happens to tank timing pushes beyond the tank timing push?
The issue being chargelots mainly, but HotS will add battle hellions to meatshield up and make tanks potentially more useful in the later parts of the game.

Bad decision by Supernova to stay near the bunker to try to kill the SCVs. He should have run inside after killing the marauders not in the bunker.

Are you going to say goody? Actually check the MVP vs MC game from a few seasons back. MVP basically did a 2 base marine-tank-banshee composition.
And he transitioned into bio late game? The original point was that why didn't terran transition into tanks late game. That 2 base marine tank banshee was useful in setting up a contain, kind of like a 1-1-1. Then MVP went into full bio, putting down 5 raxes immediately after that.

Thats not how i meant it more like beyond a 1-1-1 timing ( in like not moving out ) , tanks become bad once upgrade and charge kick in combined with AOE. and or Immortals.

Well, hardest counter that doesn't happen to be air, at least. I have seen a few builds where you get one early tank, but it's super risky I believe.

Ok ill explain . Both guys proxy marauder rushed each other. Then jakjji fled into supernova base . Two orbitals of different players were mining from each other while marauder battles were going on . Supernova lost the marauder battle and therefore the game.
