There are more than 6 Koreans, and if pool play shows us anything it's that foreigners are more than capable of making it top 6 anyway. SC is about the games, not about where people are from.
You want SC2 to be an e-sport, right? Soccer is all about the games too, yet I don't cheer for barcelona because they are the best team in the world, I cheer for flamengo because they are the team from my country.
Soccer is a team sport, SC2 is more comparable to tennis or golf, Do you perhaps not root for Federer or Tiger Woods?
There's not much point in complaining about people cheering for their own country. The Koreans do the same and no one ever blames them. Like Tasteless was saying, Koreans won't even watch a sport unless Koreans are winning it.
Once again, I'm not complaining about people cheering for their own country, I have a problem with people saying "let anyone win but Korea". That's not cheering for your own country, that's cheering specifically against someone else's.

On your easier to attack then defend point. Idra never floated above like 500 minerals when defending both attacks perfectly. Idra outplayed him most of the game and then had a single bad engage at the end that lost him the game because 3-3 marines are godly good with 6 medivacs.
Idra was sniping all his depots. MKP was supply blocked for a huge span of time.

MKP had little mirco at the end. The marines and scvs were just sitting under the cloud of medivacs when Idra lost all his units. Then at the end he moves his marines back once and loses half of them to banes. It wasn't micro that turned things around at the end. It was just the marines.

Hero is A, MC is not code A anymore but is competitive, and plays like a beast.
HuK is Code S, and MC played so much like a beast he got knocked out by a relative nobody. I don't see how people didn't expect HuK to take 1st or 2nd place.

Did you not notice how he was floating 2k minerals at the end of the game because he didn't remember to make reactors or more barracks?
he did make reactors, he didn't make them early game to focus those gas on upgrade. That was why he was able to afford all the upgrades and still tech to tank, medivac at the same time.
So you're going to blantantly lie because Day9 showed all 8 or so barracks with no addon at all.

Reactors on barracks in tvz is usually bad, especially when you're constantly being attacked.

MKP just had a plane: take idra down in lategame with 3-3 marines
then stuff happened, idra did some nice moves and in the end MKP killed him with the push he was planning for from the get go
that's good gameplay

he had a plan to win and executed it, you can debate how easy stuff is to execute it but to say he was worse in anyway is just silly

for anyone crying about idra game, idra want to finish the game without going any tech, constantly producing lings + muta + blings, if he does not finish MKP he will lose the game, MKP did not fall apart at all and defend well with 3 bases vs 3 bases of idra (4th base have no drone at all).
Idra should have gone higher tech and play macro, that is what marine king is trying to do, and by defend so well he win.
