Why, were you not entertained by that game?
Why does it matter where they come from? Was that game not intense and exciting? If a player's nationality is what prevents you from watching esports why even bother?
Some people doesn't enjoy seeing a tourney roster and knowing which players will finish top 6. It's his opinion, are you that intolerant?
There are more than 6 Koreans, and if pool play shows us anything it's that foreigners are more than capable of making it top 6 anyway. SC is about the games, not about where people are from.
You want SC2 to be an e-sport, right? Soccer is all about the games too, yet I don't cheer for barcelona because they are the best team in the world, I cheer for flamengo because they are the team from my country.
Soccer is a team sport, SC2 is more comparable to tennis or golf, Do you perhaps not root for Federer or Tiger Woods?
There's not much point in complaining about people cheering for their own country. The Koreans do the same and no one ever blames them. Like Tasteless was saying, Koreans won't even watch a sport unless Koreans are winning it.

All he really did was get 3/3 on his marines. His macro was actually terrible but he had 3/3 marines to stim. The only reason he won is because of the power of marines.
This. 3-3 marines won him the game, nothing else. Macro was poor, not a single reactored barracks and he was banking 2k+ minerals the entire time. His micro wasn't even that good tbh. Simply won because marines are too damn good.
No he wasn't banking 2k minerals the entire time, he started banking once he started getting attacked from 2 sides, it's easier to attack than it is to defend most of the time.
Check the replay MKP was above 1500 minerals for the last 5min of the game and never went below 1k at any point and even floated above 2k at the very end. His highest supply was like 150 at some point, 0 reason for that, didnt even have a single reactor.
On your easier to attack then defend point. Idra never floated above like 500 minerals when defending both attacks perfectly. Idra outplayed him most of the game and then had a single bad engage at the end that lost him the game because 3-3 marines are godly good with 6 medivacs.
Idra was sniping all his depots. MKP was supply blocked for a huge span of time.
So you're blaming Idra for killing stray buildings? I'm really confused...

Idra should have won it.
But then Marineking outplayed Idra and won it instead.
Pretty much. Funny how he just lolled around game two and people thought it was a real win.
Its hilarious people can read his mind and come to the conclusion he was messing around. MKP has used heavy mech/thor builds against zergs in the past and it has been successful.

No I'm saying that's why MKP's money got so high. You said there was no reason for it and I'm pointing out a very obvious reason.

Mmmm delicious Zerg Tears
any race can win 99% of the engagements during then game then screw up the one main battle and lose. Idra over committed forgot upgrades and got out micro'd and it cost him the game, end of story.

I am rooting for Djokovic and Lee westwood actually...

No, he's explaining why MKP's macro looked poor.
It didn't look poor, it was poor, simple as that. MKP's own fault for getting his supply depots constantly picked off.
Man some of you guys need to STFU about people's macro sometimes. Idra was attacking his base nearly constantly. Stopping marine production for reactors may give Idra a window to kill MKP if he couldn't reinforce. With the massive muta numbers in his base getting more barracks is going to be hard especially if you move your marines to counter them and a zergling runby goes to your mineral line.
All I have to say is he played well enough to win.

Once again, I'm not complaining about people cheering for their own country, I have a problem with people saying "let anyone win but Korea". That's not cheering for your own country, that's cheering specifically against someone else's.
