Left side sweep today methinks.

No way. Ret has this I think.

Sen - yes Strelok - yes Select - no
Ret should be able to win vs Select or at least it's an even match that can go both ways.

yeah seleCT can't micro for shit in the 'secret' NASL lag. so ret will make 100 drones, lose 20 instead of 60 to harass cuz of the above and then win.

mOOnGLaDe fighting! though he hates ZvZ

Judging from last week's results, don't see any way Select is beating Ret with latency

Watching game 3 I have to wonder why Sen thought it necessary to do that build in game 1, his standard play is just so far above moonglade

lol sens interviews are always good

lol sen The Torp: What were you thinking in g1? Sen: No one drone scouts on that map. It was like "What the fuck! drone coming"

Lmao epic interview from Sen.

sen's mechanics and defensive micro is just so awesome. shame don't get to see much of his play in the international scene =[

Good to see Sen is still looking good even though he's playing weaker competition in the TeSL. GL Sen!
|
lol sen doesnt even know who is in his group lol

|
Sen is so awesome, i hope he's improved even more from his Taiwanese league to dominate NASL
|
From what Sen is saying, TW/CH/KR Zerg players don't seem to drone scout. That's interesting - it's also what Dimaga noticed and exploited against Nestea and yesterday against XiGua.
Anyways, Sen has great talent. Too bad he has to practice on ladder most of the times (it sounds like) because of the lack of comparable competition in Taiwan.
|
Strelok ninja hellion build inc ...oh and NE scouts it
|
This is a sick build from strelok, unless he makes a huge mistake this game is probably his

there was an awesome thread in the strategy forum compiling GSL ZvZ matches with details about 15 hatching. in that thread, the guy also posted a pretty awesome conversation he had with DRG about it, and it seemed like they rely entirely on overlord/zergling scouting if they go pool first (ie don't need any info before that), so if they drone scout it reveals that they are going hatch first. so they go 15 hatch blind because they don't want to reveal that they went 15 hatch.
nestea has gotten so many build order wins because of this, not only with cheese, but with fast expand to the gold. the opponent has to react as if nestea is one-basing because they don't know the pool timing and will find the gold base late.
|
That's some nasty build. Rofl. Abuse everything in Terran power!

That seems a pretty rigid meta-game issue alright. Yeah, it can be easily exploited by foreigners since I don't think 15 hatch is safe against drone zergling all-ins if scouted early enough.

Total domination.
Proxy factory into nightends base. Then Helion together with 2 maureders 1 marine pressure. Did alot of dmg. Then Banshee play followed by a little marine/maureder pressure.
Now strelok was so fare ahead and he just went and killed him with 1-1 in upgrades

Less publicity, no koreans, 3 games a day (sometimes). Already made season 1 bias (because of bad production)

That, and there's also day 2 of IEM Guangzhou that's starting up right now. Concurrent tournaments usually tend to eat into NASL viewership quite a bit, I've found.

also IPL team arena with SlayerS vs Mouz

Strelok is doing a phenomenal job. I think he could take it this season. Also if Gretorp says "entire" one more time I'm going to snap!
|
Did strelok have a proxy starport making banshees? There have been banshees in the production tab for a while, and nightend's army just killed off a floating starport off near strelok's 4th.

Sorry to say this but the level of multitasking is so bad between these two players. GSL has spoiled my eyes, I suppose. I hope in the future they show APM tabs in mid battles or harrass (like for 10 secs, not just for a split second) so that who's actually doing more actions when matters.

Yea because we all know players with the highest APM always win o.0

Man, strelok needs some better practice partners. I feel like his play is really strong but he's hindered by his team.

Watch Nerchio's vods from the Grubby Invitational if you think he's inconsistent , Yes Stephano definitely is iffy right now but has potential as I didn't include him, as for MorroW he's been doing work for Mouz in their team leagues, watch the vods of Mouz/SlayerS to see him posting great results against great players, I won't give names as they were just played.

I think it's several reasons.
1) Season 1 was over summer, Season 2 is during school time, so that cuts into a lot of casual viewership (and I think most people watching SC2 are in high school or college). Even if they don't have classes, they have hw/exams.
2) Korean withdrawal. I and many others don't care, but it's unreasonable to say viewership wouldn't at all be affected. Interestingly, EU rebroadcast viewership has skyrocketed. I would say they lost about 2k viewers per night because of this, which overall is not that bad.
3) I believe last night there was IEM and the Redbull lan (and to a smaller extent IPTL).
Overall though I don't agree with Wtamer; NASL tends to be robust against competing tournaments except for major LAN events (which most daily tournaments suffer).
But, for example, IPL has not been able to even put a dent on NASL (quite the opposite, I watch mornings and IPL rarely breaks 2k viewers).
Even right now, NASL is at 12k and IPTL is at 4k, with SlayerS playing.
