You need to do this kind of 3base turtle into taking a middle map base with planetary and get marauder / ghost to counter what T3 they'll use to break you. You will always end up being rolled if you try to push out before zerg did the first move on a lategame scenario. good play by select. he knew dimaga was on t2 too long and just waited till he was maxed out or dimaga to attack into him (which happened) predy explain to me how tvz works~ why doesnt dimaga attack whenever he hits 200 for the first time? dont understand his reasoning
if I were to take a guess at this as a chobo zerg player I like to max as quick as possible to stay safe against any pushes while my economy is booming. Then while maxed I like to harass the living daylights out of the guy while teching to hive tech (broods or ultras) and massing upgrades. The initial 200/200 army isnt strong enough usually to attack directly into a terran base of tanks marines bunkers turrets and the works. I tend to only attack head on into the base when i get a solid number of broods out 5+
idk if this sounds stupid

I think it depends no Zerg's T3 plan, if you get ultra / broodlord tech quick enough, you hit right at 200/200. A slower tech which comes after 200/200 doesn't really give zerg as much advantage to switch the army around, and that will mean banking for quicker remaxing.

At least that's what I see most good ZvT players do which works well
i cant see how select could have held dimagas push if dima just maxed out at 13-14mins(or w/e the standard maxout time is in tvz), attacked selects main with his muts in order to split his army out and then hit his front with all of his army
however the main problem i could see with that attack is that dimaga was sitting on 3bases so its semi allinish because if it fails hes forced to make units(in order to defend the threat of a counterattack) and then doesnt have any eco heading into the lategame, he should have his 4th base up much quicker

Stream chat is always retarded, I'm surprised they have just turned on subscriber-only mode yet.

The setup was tested and works, no players have complained about it so far and we did test it with HuK on-stage, he wasn't able to hear anything. Maybe now people will read it and get it

No, they won't, they will accuse me of bias and lying to defend the tournament, while knowing nothing about sound setup themselves.

I guess Polt in one of them, also Bomber, but cant think about anyone else at the moment. The majority of Slayers terrans have weak TvP.

Also I dont think if he beats Elfi he will be favorite to win it all, depends who he is vs in the final, if its WhiteRa he will be favorite, if Idra or Ret i dont think he is anywhere clsoe to favorite. Idra beats him alot in ZvT as of late, Ret is the same and also has beaten him at MLGs recently. But SeleCT vs Elfi will be good due to SeleCTs amazing tactics xD
Mvp, MMA, MKP, sC definitely top 4... TheStC, ThorZaIN, Puma, Bomber... I don't know about SeleCT :\
