I feel like the metagame has just regressed 4 months overnight. Lol no, mech is still going to be ripping up bio everytime. It just allows bio to be stronger early game thou.

I feel like the metagame has just regressed 4 months overnight. I think regressed 4 months is a bit hyperbolic. Bomber just played that poorly and MKP is good at punishing bad play by dropping in weak spots. Either way Bio vs Bio actually makes kills me a bit on the inside. I love positioning battles and long games though, so I'm a bit biased.

Moletrap: "You wanna see Zerg or Protoss? Code A is the tournament to watch" DoA: "Don't forget to watch code S though, I really like code S. Maybe that's because I like TvT" Nice, guys, tell it like it is.

I feel like the metagame has just regressed 4 months overnight. It really depends on map really. I mean, after marines get combat shield nothing really changes besides the early game in mech vs. bio as far as army vs. army goes. Mech is really dependent on helions early on over siege tanks and on a small map like XNF the early game will just favor bio. I think right now biomech is the best option on maps like that where you're strong early on, but you have siege tanks in the mid game.

Bio mech can own bio and has safe openings against it so if it's going to change it'll just go back to bio mech again and bio mech is a great playstyle to watch anyway.

Siege tanks with bio running at each other in the middle of the map... Both players siege and either engages or stims and runs away. Siege tank marine just feels like regression at this point in SCII. Oh well though, you can't always get whatcha want! On September 22 2011 21:18 OopsOopsBaby wrote: imfenix vs colmvpnani tmr? No one of the Jasons has already said that he can't play in the GSTL for MVP on LO3.

Blue flame nerf just lets marine vs hellion be a more even fight. I'm kind of curious if tank marine vs mech will show up at some point. To be honest i still think hellion tank is more effective. Tanks are the unit that deals the damage in the battles. Hellions takes tank damage a lot better than marines + doing lots of splash damage to marines makes the marine tank lose to mech. Bio players can go for banshees or drops, however, if playing mech, you definitely need vikings to control the air.
