The following is a list of behaviors that will get immediate bans:

1. Whining about stream
2. Bashing other games
3. Flaming other users
4. Bashing players
5. Complaining about imbalance

Basically just be respectful. Aside from that, enjoy the games, make sure you bring an umbrella and have some delicious waffles! (#)

Bomber must be happy that he's facing Select instead of DRG. He's at least guaranteed top 3 now.

Cause then you get 2rax all-in'd and die even faster.

Ive tested 2 rax all in against my friend for the whole day on almost all variations and timings. If done right, 1 gate expand holds 2 rax almost always with proper micro and pulling of probes.

TBH I don't blame Puma he's playing to win a tournament. Not sure why Kiwi would pick Xel Naga thats the best map to do 1-1-1 Tai Altar would of been a better pick IMO.

Kiwi played great 1st game maybe the immortal mix with the colo/stalker is making a huge difference that we don't see maybe it's tanking a lot of dgm while stalkers can focus fire Vikings.

2nd game great pressure at the start from Kiwi then Puma did a mutli attack that did great dgm to Kiwi eco.

3rd game not a fan of lot/immortal/pheonix maybe colo / phoenix would of been better vs that type of 1-1-1 still 1-1-1 so freakin strong..

DRG won the group because they are taking head to head over mapscore.

All TvP are not 1-1-1, map dependent. TvZ bunker is not rush or all in, just to slow down the droning (otherwise...)

Lol, PuMa was Flash's practice partner and some other pros as well in BW.

It's not because he uses 1-1-1 that he's suddenly a piece of crap. PuMa is much more skilled RTS-wise than everybody else in this tournament.

yeah he has way more RTS experience than Grubby...

owait no he doesn't

are you fucking kidding me? Puma had 26 marines total and he pulled at least 10 for the push. Kiwi had 40+ probes. You tell me who's going to have more stuff in time...

cuz so many protoss players like tyler say that safe builds (even with stargate) does well against that build

but we all know that's not true

What does 1 gate expand lose to? It can hold 2 rax reactor pressure relative easily if you pull probes and dont skim on units. Even if you lose some probes, you will be ahead. You are on even footing if the terran goes for 1 rax expand, which he won't do on that map unless its on the main because of the wide expansion. Though 1 gate expand is weak to scv all ins, aren't 3 gate or 1 gate robo weak to that as well?

1 gate expand is so solid yet I see no one use it. Am I missing something that it cannot POSSIBLY hold off? I just don't see why people dont do the 1 gate expand especially since doing so always gives u a free win against 1/1/1 if played properly.

that part is false.

i'm not interested in debating your opinion with mine, i base my opinion off what pros say in their interviews.

Do you think he should have bided more time TT1? He knew that he already pulled a bunch of SCV's. Why not sit back a bit more and get out a ton of more units and overwhelm Puma.

yea he should have stalled as much as possible, the more he delays the attack the stronger his compo becomes because of immortal/phoenix get really strong vs pumas composition the higher they get in number, that and he had a better eco so stalling would have allowed him to pump more units.. basic math t.t

i think he just got anxious and just engaged without thinking, should have just forced puma to slowpush his way towards his base so could have bought himself as much time as possible

yup, his finger slipped on the shield D: He had to engage when he used up that energy and got stuck in that position. Nothing you can do about it now meh.

Yes, I think MLG does head-to-head before map score.

From MLG site:
5. Pool Play Ranking (1st-6th) will be determined using each Player’s Record of Matches won and lost.
So Select is first

wrong.

Ties will be broken using the following Tiebreakers in this order: Head to Head (Match Winning Percentage using only Matches between the tied Players), Games Won Percentage (All Pool Play Matches), and Seed.

I have no idea why he pushed when all tanks were sieged, even I knew that wasn't gonna work

Not to mention that all the SCVs were off mining so he had the income advantage, he should have just kept building up the numbers and engaged when the tanks eventually unsiege. That, or wait until he has enough Phoenix to both attack the Banshees and pick up the siege tanks. What he did was pretty bad, in my opinion he was in the position to defend with proper control

It clearly wasn't the place to engage, he wasn't in a attack or die situation yet.
IMO he needed to wait for the tanks to unsiege and engage closer to the entrance of his natural, lifting tanks, with nice FF and more units, given his advantage.

Basically this is a bad example to show "how OP" 1/1/1 is. We need good execution/decision making from P to judge wether it's op or not.

quoted for truth

protoss diamond players in the thread needs to stop crying because it's getting really old. it is not unbalanced one bit. Kiwi did not counter that build and he wasnt even expecting it since he put up a nexus that he later cancelled.

Jesus he has to build it or he might as well just be gtroeing the game away against everything but 111
