MLG Raleigh Day 1 RED Live Report Thread - Page 355
Forum Index > StarCraft 2 Tournaments |
Obligatory public note for all large tournament threads: The following is a list of behaviors that will get immediate bans: 1. Whining about stream 2. Bashing other games 3. Flaming other users 4. Bashing players 5. Complaining about imbalance. It is in no way complete. Keep in mind that there's a difference between pointing out that the SC2 and CoD streams were switched and whining about it (same thing on pointing out/asking about stream lag and whining about it, etc.). Also, just because you post something and aren't immediately banned for it doesn't mean you won't get caught. We'll be going through this thread very carefully. That being said, enjoy today's games! Time stamp: page 38, 6:23.

Dude it looked like he was trying to bumrush the ramp.. wtf? EMP the sentries to get up the ramp.. Not nuke it :S I have a feeling you neither play terran nor zerg, because going "oh I see marines and ghosts EMPeing my sentries outside my ramp" is far from "OH shit he's nuking me". Why the hell would he EMP if he was counting on a nuke anyway?

That, and if you watch the replay, Naniwa didn't forcefield when the nuke was launched. Please stop blaming random things on Naniwa's loss. Oh are they releasing replays already?

Now is when he has to macro until he needs to place the second set. Staring at the ramp after FF it is bronze level play. You can sit there waiting you have to constantly be moving, that is why the nuke sound not playing is so critical. Finally someone who understands the game! The kind of player bashing is just like when bronze leaguers criticize pros for not noticing they forgot colossus range. The only way to notice it is to be a terrible player who stares at his army instead of doing something important like macroing.

Aye, you are indeed correct, Nani should've heard the nuke go off. Don't get me wrong, no idea, it might've cut, but he atleast did get the first 2 seconds or so of the warning.
