Obligatory public note for all large tournament threads:
The following is a list of behaviors that will get immediate bans:
1. Whining about stream 2. Bashing other games 3. Flaming other users 4. Bashing players 5. Complaining about imbalance.
It is in no way complete. Keep in mind that there's a difference between pointing out that the SC2 and CoD streams were switched and whining about it (same thing on pointing out/asking about stream lag and whining about it, etc.). Also, just because you post something and aren't immediately banned for it doesn't mean you won't get caught. We'll be going through this thread very carefully.

Just watched it. Naniwa didn't ff when rain nuked.
im still guessing the sound didnt go off, i dont think nani would of missed the warning without the bug....but then again anything can happen. i just hope people talk about the bug and it gets fixed so we dont have future games where we have to go... did he hear the nuke warning or not?

you are NOT LOOKING for a dot if you haven't heard the NUCLEAR LAUNCH DETECTED! Jesus...
It still gets spelled out... At least I think it still does. If chat can't catch your attention than nothing can.

it is, the sound of FF takes over for the sound of a nuke, toss players cant hear nukes in the middle of a battle
This is ridiculous then. These top level pros have been losing games due to an ingame bug wtf.
I can't recall it happening before, but this game was very unfortunate.
CHANGE THIS NOW BLIZ
The most recent one I can think of is Slog vs Hack in GSTL. Basically his army was crushing hack but hack launched a nuke mid battle and Slog didn't have warning so basically after he wins the fight the nuke lands and he loses the game.
Ya I remember that game. Slog4 went from a won game straight into a loss because of the bug : /

Also, Choya vs Jinro last MLG. TLO vs Incontrol too, I think.
Again Naniwa gives these little wierd remarks on televised matches that I don't know should be taken as a sign of frustration or something else, 'GG )))))))))))'. Recently in GSL he did something simular after a lost game 'HEHE, gg'.

You can s till see a red dot next to your sentry.
are you going to be looking for little red dots all game everytime you cast a FF vs terran? just because there is a dot does not mean you will see it sadly
No. I'm just saying that it is there. He overlooked it and it was his mistake. He's human, he makes mistakes. But you can't blame the game or imbalance... like some people here try to.
It was a bug though.. Nukes are supposed to have sounds, am I right? Less of human error and more of lazy bugfixers imo. Then again I'm a total naniwa fanboy and I would literally break my computer in half if I wasn't so tired.. I don't wanna see my boi go out like that :<
rewatching the after effects of the nuke, nani could have killed that army with his one colossus and 6 zealots honestly. He just pulled probes out too late, warped his zealots into a poor position behind his pylon and moved his probes into the same choke while letting his colossus get targeted down.
not hating, since i'm sure that after a nuke like that, make most players, if not all, would be so frustrated that the game would be over regardless.
unfortunate for nani but he still has a lot of games left to go. not over yet.

Yet you don't notice it if you don't hear the sound, i guess that would be unlikely

Every time you use forcefields while the terran army is camping in front of your ramp with a ghost shooting 3 emps up the ramp and not retreating afterwards but standing 2 inches away from the ramp doing nothing.

People generally dont see what they are not looking for. No sound no nuke is what I would think if I had never had that happen before.
On August 27 2011 10:28 Micket wrote: Nuke never crossed his mind. When you are concentrating on force fielding the ramp and your sentries are being emp'd you have no reason to think of a red dot being there. Naniwa joins choya in nuke graveyard
If he was focusing on his sentries he wouldn't have missed it. Wonder if he was doing something in his main base maybe dropping more gateways or something.

Don't know if I agree. Not many brains would register a red dot on the ground when there shouldn't be able to be one there (no warning sound) unless he looks straight at it. He also was in a very intense situation. I don't think you'd spot it either, Naruto.
Also you can blame the game if it doesn't work as it's supposed to.
