NOTE: If you are planning to COMPETE at the live qualifier at the event, you DO NOT need to purchase a spectator pass. Player passes are available now! http://bit.ly/qfpfjO for all spectator and player pass purchases. Does this mean that the competitor pass covers competing + everything the silver pass includes (the IPL loot bag and spectating)?

Competitor pass (Master Badge) is equivalent to Bronze Level with additional benefits for being a competitor. Edit: Benefits like access to practice computers, etc.

I think it would be very helpful if you guys would have a LR thread when you go live that explains what games you are showing, what event it's from, and where in the bracket the games actually are. Thanks for you work. edit: Now that I went hunting on your site, I found your schedule page: http://www.ign.com/ipl/starcraft2/calendar I guess I was just watching your community spotlight show. It would be nice if the schedule was a bit easier to find on your home page. It also be better if the schedule was more written out more clearly to show who is playing who. Also I think it'd make sense for the casters to say something like "You're watching the IPL TV community spotlight" around commercial breaks or something like that. Also it'd be nice to hear something like "For those of you just joining us or have never watched before, the community spotlight is a daily show where we...". Often when I tune in, I am very confused as to what I'm watching. Now I realized that I posted this in the wrong thread. I'm guessing it should go in the IPL TV thread. I think I'll repost it there.

IGN got much more $$ to throw at this and promote it. IPL 1 and 2 weren't that popular due to lack of popular players but IPL 3 is shaping up real nice. I would say IGN season 1 and 2 weren't popular because the games were 1-2 month old by the time they got broadcast so players just seemed off. I live event will change that ofc!!!

I am hoping the same thing NASL is trash compared to IPL in alot of ways, the thing is though i dont agree with the way IPL did their set up for the past two seasons, broadcasting the matches 1-2 months after they happen just doesnt work at all, i think they probably know this by now and will change it. Alot of people want to see the latest styles with the latest tweaks and nuances in the meta game. Alot of people dont go back to watch matches fromm 1-2 months ago unless they are epic, and with all the new live starcraft 2 content coming out every day, why would they? This live tournament should be great though, great invites so far, and it will be mostly koreans through the qualifiers so that is a huge plus (at least for me) Im sure this live tournament will be a huge success and IPL will be inclined to do more of them because im pretty sure it will have much more success (and its just one weekend) then their whole 2 month tournaments have had. With the amount of advertising they can do through their site they could easily attract alot of new eyes to the scene as well through a tournament like this. I think newcomers are way way way more inclined to watch a live event then they are to just watch an online tournament. Maybe if this tournament is a success IPL will switch to more of a live tournament circuit , we will have to see how it goes, with players like slayers boxer though i think it will go great! XD Cant wait IGN you guys are doing a great job! I still loved the production value behind IPL it was just hard to get behind it with such a delay between when the matches were played and when they are broadcast. anyways Huk vs MVP on right now, ESPORTS FTW

I know they need a long lead time to do their great production work, but I would honestly sacrifice some production quality to have more recent games shown. Casting from replays is fine, but casting from 1-2 month old replays puts a damper on things.

That's for spectator packages for our live event in Atlantic City! These: http://www.eventbrite.com/event/2036777055 Except for the Master's Pass, which is for players.
