They pretty much all live in team houses. Train around 10 hours a day. They live for starcraft, foreigners such as IdrA and others have admitted they have not trained much but should change when the EG team house is up and running after MLG. I could eat my words in the future, but I'm almost certain that the EG house will show no significant improvements for the players there. They can practice for hours a day, but they will basically be playing the same people of the same or lower skill level. Sadly I agree, it appears to be the end of western players being able to compete. Really a shame, cause the first year of SC2 was just amazing. Ahhh well, there is always SC3. EG can't get better in a vacuum, I agree, but if more team houses spring up, the foreign competition gets tougher and wins get increasingly more hard to get, then we will get synergy through competition and evolution, hopefully closing down that gap... Since the Koreans keep taking our money, why would anyone make an investment as large as starting a professional team house from scratch?
Western e-sports teams already have a lot of money/sponsors regardless of what people of other nationalities do.

I'd wager that the western SC2 teams have way more sponsors than the Korean teams, look at how many EG has compared to IM or oGs

Prize money doesn't go to the teams in 99% of cases? Prize money almost has 0 impact on advertisers/sponsorship/team funding, it almost always goes to players.

And it's not like a Western company like SteelSeries would wnat to sponsore a Korean team, where there's less of a market for their stuff.

Great job casting guys! Having 2 threads wasn't a good idea as most people just posted in the Red stream thread but they were definitely watching the awesome games and casting.
