Man, I spend a couple weeks away from SC2 and suddenly these DRG, tod names are being tossed around left and right and I never even heard of em...
I really think it should take some long term, consistent results before we form so many bandwagons. tod was pretty well known in wc3

MMA looking kinda shaky too, don't see him making the final 4 again. Just groups, anything could happen. Yeah, but it looks like more of a confidence / preparation issue (for a while now even). Not something that can be so easily fixed during a 2 day tournament. MC began losing 2-0 to IdrA and did fine, so you never know.

DRG didn't exactly do anything "boss" against Nani there. Nani simply made the common mistake of not creating absolutely perfect force fields, and thus, lost to mass ling attack move.

Seriously, Jaedong was 10 times better and even he was never bonjwa Yeah, i'm not a "bonjwa expert" of any sort, but it's more about dominating the entire scene for an extended period of time. DRG has not done this at all. He's sickly good (so is Jaedong obv) but nowhere near being a bonjwa Not even nestea will claim he's anything near a bonjwa, says he needs at least 3 more big titles in order to be considered so. I'm sure some would even disagree with that. it's not just about how many titles you win, it's about consistency over a span of time. JD has 5 titles and is still not considered bonjwa. Flash on the other hand has made 7 consecutive finals appearances and is. Can you even imagine someone appearing in 7 GSL finals in a row? Also unlike GSL, there are only around 3 OSL/MSL each year (3 of each, just to be clear), making winning them even more impressive

tod is pretty underrated, when practicing though he's a beast.

New York is a really nice town

Tod was a former top tier Warcraft3 player, considered the best human player by many in his prime

Thorzain interview during the break. He's not even playing in this MLG! Lol

Why is it funny? It's pretty ridiculous. Most people in SC2 throw the word around like it's nothing and give it to people who just play well in 1 tournament. Look at the bonjwas so far. Boxer how many titles and how good was he. iloveoov how many titles and how good was he. Nada, first person to win the golden mouse. Savior, the king of all zergs and how unbeatable was he? And now possibly Flash. There is no one in sc2 so far that is anywhere near the success that these players have had. The closest possible one so far is Nestea and that is only if he wins this GSL. So no it is not funny, it is disrespectful and just embarrassing.

Seriously, Jaedong was 10 times better and even he was never bonjwa If Jaedong was never Bonjwa, who was/is? Don't want to start a debate, but bonjwa signifies an aura of invincibility. Even when Jaedong was at his best, you could never make a statement like "this guy would easily beat Flash and Bisu without a question". For DRG to become a bonjwa, it would need a situation where he's regularly dominating players like MC and Nestea.

old interviews again, too bad they didn't get more fresh content prior x-x
