BLOPS and Halo arent compatitve FPSs, CS 1.6 and Quake are competative and skillfull Quake is in its own league if you look at skill though the mechanics in that game is just so hard its unbelievable compared to all other FPS

Black Ops works very well as a casual game you play with your bros but is the most horrible excuse for an E-sport of all time... PS, I love playing CoD with my friends, love the game!

I would give the game a chance, though I hate console shooters as an e-sport, but now we're just watching a freaking interview with some random dude named Rambo?

I actually feel similarly about League of Legends, I actually find it quite fun to play but when I watch competitive games they are ultra-boring in comparison to both HoN or DotA which both have action and skill differentiation apparent off the bat, kind of disappointing as a spectator.

League of Legends has a pretty major following. If you don't play it yourself, it probably looks really dull, but when you know the champs and their various abilities, the game can be a blast to watch. Considering League's stream numbers from Dreamhack and from various other tournaments, gonna have to question your understanding of the game's following there. Don't disagree on CoDBLOPS being uninteresting, mind.

Think of it from MLG's pov - its a brand new product that they were already having issues with. The SC2 cast before it was laced with swear words from TLO/MrBitter/Ret which is huge nono and probably already left them uncomfortable. On top of that there are sponsors watching - MLG are promoting it a lot and when you have a loose cannon who has a history of shitting on you (teasing or not - sponsors dont care about that) it looks incredibly bad. I'm not surprised they yanked 2GD - i'm more surprised Slasher convinced everyone to give him shot (after dreamhack). Whats he going to do next - say that Astro is a shit brand and that he only uses Razer headsets? The trust is gone at that point. I think 2GD is really entertaining, and his BM is pretty funny - but don't pull your bitch-forks out when it bites him in the ass.

Don't disagree on CoDBLOPS being uninteresting, mind. I used to play it at a semi-high level, around the same level as players like Atlanta and Guardsman Bob at points. I find it ridiculously dull to watch, it feels like so much is effectively complete at champion selection and the action in-game remains the same with so little going on during the laning phase, often times games can go up to 10 or more minutes with no deaths, also everyone runs Flash. It's just not good competitively in my opinion.
