Really really great event. Nothing more to say. Thanks to TaKe and the players& casters for their effort, I think they really enjoyed it! Next time I'm definately going to buy a HD pass. The donation site doesn't work atm?

40K euro no way, what would he have had 40K spent on? most of the things were sponsored.
you are probably the one who knows it exactly...
1) he bought the flat. 2) he renovated, new kitchen, new bath, partly new floor. 3) all the new furniture he needed and i'm sure there more things, take did not told everyone.
1) No way. 40K for a 200m² flat in Krefeld? He rent it for 3 months or so I would assume... 2) This. 3) This.
1) i have to correct me: he rented the flat. you are from germany, so i assume you understand german -> he will use this flat in the future for more events.
take would be a fool to renovate the whole flat and to apply that much of effort just for one single event...

He bought it, it was ownerless for 2~ years, which made the price go down, and the price was not 40k, he just went 40k in debt

I'd like to see a source for that, because I find that very hard to believe. He might have put up some of his own money, but going in debt for 40,000 Euros? come on.
Great tourny though!
Thats a thing he said on his own. There is proof for that somewhere in written or video form.
Doesn't anyone here know what debt means? Debt means money you borrow. He borrowed 20k.
It was a great success and a really cool format for a tournament, both for the players and for the fans. Especially in an SC2 world where we see more and more tourneys along the same format pop up, both online and LAN, it's really refreshing to see something like this. Not being casted by wheat/day9/tastetosis but by the players themselves.
You can't compare it to DH/MLG and you shouldn't.. the whole point is that variety is the spice of life and smaller tourneys along this line make a brilliant intermezzo inbetween the bigger ones.
TaKe you're a legend, I loved all of it and I'm really looking forward to the next one. If you put up a site I'll pre-order a ticket right now.

Why do people just have to shit on everything? This was an incredible and unique tournament that delivered both great games and a great atmosphere. Seriously, just enjoy that there are people doing something like this.
