Sadly after all this time with so many tournament threads it still is not clear to many users on this site. There are several types of posts that are not acceptable in tournament threads. Any form of:
Imbalance whine/Player bashing/Caster bashing/Stream complaining
Will result in two day to a week long bans even for first offenses. Please stick to the games at hand and enjoy yourselves with a beautiful event such as this and the free service that comes with it. |

If Sen takes out July then it could well be a Sen vs. Korean(s) finals, in which case Sen would likely lose because neither MC nor Bomber are good opponents for Sen unless he's learned a lot from his earlier match vs. MC.

One botched baneling detonation, and one silly comment from Huk on SOTG and everyone assumes he's terrible. Sigh..... Agreed. Moon is fantastic! oh hell yes he is. i am convinced now as well. that guy... left me completely (COMPLETELY) baffled after the 2 whitera games. comes, kills, disappears. holy shit. rooting for him from here on out.
Apparently Moon had the on/off thing in War3 as well (from what War3 fans have posted). He'll play insanely good one match, then leave you going "what the hell just happened?" the next match. He's good at holding on in matches as well, as he tends to botch the midgames pretty badly at times.

Idra got a huge advantage after playing like a boss with amazing star sense on the 1st half of the game. Then he decide to mass Roach O_O. If he tech to any tech path he would have won, even teching to overlord drop is gonna screw MC up big time, Muta will do as well, and ofc infestor and bane will own stalkers.
Some people will see what they want to see I'm pretty sure the majority of "Idra fanboys" here (including myself) are in fact acknowledging that mass roaches gets destroyed by blink stalker (note - not imbalanced, just a fact), and saying that Idra needs to get his shit together and get a more diverse army comp once he has that big of a lead. And for the record, a tech switch to Muta would have probably been complete shit against a mass blink stalker 2 base all in. Well, Idra has improved his early game against Protoss a lot. Now he just needs to figure out the mid-game. He takes some really nice leads into the midgame, but he doesn't capitalize on them well. Though Game 1 he had, he just mis-microed the followup attack after he killed the 2nd Colossus (and probably should have streamed Lings. Game 2 he didn't have a follow up plan to that attack. It should be noted there is something of a developing meta game between MC & Idra forming. It's kind of funny!
True that. His midgame zvp reminds me of my own... just kinda getting roaches and hydras and not much else tech and going from there -_-

Losira absolutely raped MC. Zergs like Nestea, July would be better and the new generation of zergs like DRG and Line would probably give him headaches as well. Then I'm very worried because Idra has dominated the foreign scene pretty much. Destroyed IPL, destroyed all of his competition in MLG (barring Thorzain). The foreign scene doesn't have much hope to beat Korea if Idra isn't on MC's level.
Who is Merz?? Is he the best in the foreigner scene??

hahahahahhaha
whenever idra loses to a protoss his entire fanclub comes into the LR thread and whines about forcefield imba and all kind of silly things.

Thorzain beat him, Sase beat him and I'm pretty sure players like Naniwa, Nerchio, White Ra, Dimaga etc would be able to beat Idra. Naniwa and Thorzain are also going to Korea to improve and play in code A. Give them the time and the opportunity and they will be able to compete with anyone.

Huk is an international archon. He melded foreigner and korean into one. He has no nationality anymore. The proof is in the kimchi.

Anyway socke>huk sen>july bomber>mc moon>naniwa
And MC owns everyone. even sen.. It will never change. Koreans will always be better than foreigners. It's not fanboyism or racism, it's the simple truth. I don't think koreans will always be the best. I think the player that practices harder/the most will always be the best. HuK is not a korean korean. but he practices similar like the koreans so he is doing really well. Completely agree. Everything is pointing to the fact the Koreans have the best training setups suitable for SC2. Wait..you just contradicted yourself. We already know it's the training regime that makes koreans the best. Foreigners will never have that work ethic or infrastructure. By the time they do get it the korean infrastructure will probably be at the next level anyways. Koreans will forever be ahead. That's not to say you can't enjoy foreigner play. Cheering for your home team is always fun. But the foreigner scene is and possibly will always be in the shadow of the korean scene. It's not the work ethic... I think that's just the image or what's the psychology word I am looking for here... Anyway It's basically the environment of having so many top tier players to play against all the time that basically makes you in to a better player.
That environment didn't just pop out of the grass. I agree with you, but the reason the koreans have that environment already is because of their work ethic since day 1 of sc1 10 years ago. A decade of hard work created the environment you see today. And it's not something the foreigner scene can produce overnight.

Even better than Polt´s. Based on what? When bomber played MC in the GSTL he tried a cheap 4 rax marine only cheese lol. When White-Ra was in Korea pre-4-gate nerf, Bomber beat him 8-2 and the two losses were due to 4-gate rushes. As much as people love White-Ra he doesn't practice that much therefor he's not really at the korean level...so you can't say that Bomber has better TvP than Polt by beating any TSL(The SCV Life) protoss which suck or White-Ra.
