Sadly after all this time with so many tournament threads it still is not clear to many users on this site. There are several types of posts that are not acceptable in tournament threads. Any form of: Imbalance whine/Player bashing/Caster bashing/Stream complaining Will result in two day to a week long bans even for first offenses. Please stick to the games at hand and enjoy yourselves with a beautiful event such as this and the free service that comes with it.

Sigh..... I don't want to start an argument here, but watching his NASL games, watching his LAN games - ALMOST always, Moon wins in an extremely sloppy fashion. His NASL games are extremely unimpressive for the most part and his control is distinctly average. You cite his games from this tournament....vs Tarson was one of the worst games of this LAN. The reason why most people doubt Moon is that he has yet to win games with either inspirational play, or pure dominance. His work in IEM World was the closest he ever really got to something special imo (and the bane detonation on Slush). Yes, it says something that Moon can still be a powerful presence on the foreigner scene - but if YOU watch his games, almost every match is filled with very visible flaws (it's like watching Grubby play basically at this point, but a bit better).

Not too surprising though. Perhaps the only surprise for me was moon 2-0'ing White-Ra. I mean, White-Ra is an amazing player, I thought he would be capable of beating moon, who's not that impressive. That said, I think that while moon isn't that good at SC2, he's got sort of a "champion's heart", he always seems to pull off some ridiculous unheard of skill when playing in LANs, that's why I never count him out. His WC3 stage experience has made him a tremendous competitor.

MC's games are only sometimes boring because they're ridiculously one sided since he's so much better than the people he plays against. He shows amazing games when matched up against equals like Losira I have, several times. It's burnt into my memories, those games. What I was trying to tell, was that MC just roflstomps foreign zergs, only the kind of Losira can handle him properly, give him a run for his money. This is why MC is often very boring to watch in zvp, very few can take him head on.

Idra didn't have any, and he needed to. If not that, then quicker hydras or something. Seems like you think I'm QQing or something. Mass roach beats mass stalker. Infestor takes away the blink ability, roaches win easily. You compared it to hydralisks versus colossi...which is completely wrong.

Moon lost to Huk and Naniwa too, so I am not sure whether ZvP is actually his best MU. Moon sometimes just plays well and sometimes does something pretty bad that makes him look like a noob.

What are you doing here? Get out. First off, TL;DR yet joins the discussion without reading any counter parts? Sweet lord. You're forgetting forcefields is at times the only way a protoss can fend off early aggression.

He screwed it up bigtime for sure with his transition into the game but still.. not microing his units good enough and leaving when he actually got a semi-good chance to get back into the game..that just makes the fans upset. I dunno if he is scared about humiliation but when he leaves as he does in his games he makes people think he is a quitter. And thats worse..Anyways he is a very talented player..but he seriously made alot of fans wait for practically nothing at all. NesTea would never leave in such a state of the game at least. I always said SEn is the best non KR Zerg there is and it wouldnt suprise me if I see him winning the whole shit now..I hope he beats July next. What are you on about? He's stayed in games a lot longer than previous at Dreamhack. He's GAINED respect from me. But none the less I'm not sure what you're expecting him to do after his army is dead. Pull all drones and attack the Stalkers?

The foreign scene doesn't have much hope to beat Korea if Idra isn't on MC's level. Naniwa and Thorzain should get better in Korea. I would say those two, with Sen, are the best three foreigners now anyway. Idra has regressed since coming back to the States. He admitted to only practicing three hours a day and won't be getting better if he doesn't go balls to the wall.

Moon is a solid player who has pretty decent showings in foreign tournaments, but I think he would struggle against most Code A Korean players or top 3-5 foreigners. I would call White-Ra a top 5-ish foreigner and he got demolished. Moon is fantastic but not solid. Never was in WC3(except at 2006 when he was on another level) and never will be in SC2. Solid is not his thing, genius and inspiring play is.
