The series starts on iCCup Starlight Breaker, Fake spawns at 9 while Tiger spawns at 3. --- Speedling expo for Fake, though he goes pool first and delays his gas timing slightly. Tiger opening pretty standard, but pooling chrono boost somewhat before chronoing gateway + core. Looks like a standard 3gate expo -- Fake with his nat saturated and a roach warren going down, Tiger's expo is finishing up and he's getting a forge + sim citying his front. Roach/Ling pressure on the way from Fake. Roach/Ling push hits the front and Tiger defends it very shakily, not the best forcefields at all but he didn't take too many losses and saved most of his sentries. It was the Losira kind of timing with Fake taking the third behind his attack. 3rd getting saturated and a Lair on the way for Fake, Tiger up to 6gates now and taking a third along with building a twilight council, follows that up with blink. Fake getting a fourth already + roach speed & hydras --- Tiger faking some pressure and then pulling back while he gets his third set up safely, with a good core of blink stalkers and sentries he's now teching to Colossus. Fake getting his spire up and dropping a baneling nest as well. 144 to 120 supply in Fake's favour and almost 2-1 on his ranged units. Tiger just at 2-0. Tiger poking at the fourth, good forcefields and the Colossus shows up, Fake decides it is a fight he doesn't want to take and pulls drones + flees leaving the hatch to die.

Tiger poking at the fourth, good forcefields and the Colossus shows up, Fake decides it is a fight he doesn't want to take and pulls drones + flees leaving the hatch to die. Fake getting baneling speed, ovie speed, drops, and flyer +1. Double expanding now after having had to give up his fourth. Tiger taking a very timely fourth too (17mins). Fake scouts Tiger's fourth and decides it's too close to his fifth so cancels it. Huge amount of banelings morphing and Fake is maxed. Tiger is being nice and active with blink stalkers + an observer, blinks up into the main and snipes out the double evo chamber! ---- Blink stalkers doing so much damage in the main again, snipe out the spire now! Fake baneling dropping on stalkers in the middle of the map, but it's not getting too much damage done. ---- Both players are maxed out, pretty sizable engagement. Tiger is sniping overlords with stalkers and Fake drops banelings early only to get forcefielded out. Fake's army being very ineffective and Tiger is doing a ton of damage with his Colossus (pumping them out of 2 robos now). Fake withdraws and gets up his fifth, both players are maxed again very fast. Tiger getting his fifth too. OH MY, DT harass at Fake's fourth gets cleaned up with the hatch on 3 hp!! So close. Tiger taking advantage of Fake's army being out of position defending the DT harass to blink into the main again, snipes the Lair this time before retreating out, very nice. Fake is forced to engage, he moves in with his baneling drops but excellent forcefields shut off his army and Tiger micros away from the banes as they drop before moving back in to mop up the army. Everything Fake has left is getting burnt to a crisp, and he's forced to GG out.

![]() ![]() Game 2 on Crevasse. Tiger spawns at 2 while Fake spawns at 8. Fake is going for hatch first, taking advantage of the backdoor expansion. Tiger opening pretty standard, relatively early second gas though. Ah, Tiger drops a twilight council and rather than it being DT's it's 4gate blink stalkers! Fake took a super fast third while this was going on and he's droning very hard. It's not looking good for him...not even got speed for his lings yet and no Roach warren. Tiger walks up and kills him...wish I could say it was more exciting than that but yeah, Fake had almost nothing and Tiger just steamrolled it. Tiger takes the series 2-0!

![]() ![]() I've never ever seen Issue play, Banbans/Vanvanth is obviously known from his assorted stints in Code A and brief appearance in Code S. Game 1 on iCCup Starlight Breaker. Banbans spawning at 3, while Issue is spawning at 9. Banbans immediately sending out a probe to proxy gate! --- Just the one gate dropped by Banbans and then he sends his probe back home, looks like he just wants to put on some proxy pressure and make Issue over commit to defence? Taking a gas back at home. Issue looks like he's setting up for a gasless expo, but after finding a zealot in his base immediately drops a second rax. Banbans getting a couple of workers killed but Issue is microing pretty well and holds it off without too much damage. --- I got a phonecall and missed a chunk =p --- Issue has expanded and has his nat set up, Banbans attempting to pressure the front with...3 gate (?) aggression. It gets completely shut down and Banbans is only just attempting to drop his Nexus, realising how lost his cause is he makes a well timed GG.

![]() ![]() Issue opening with a CC first, I'm starting to like this guy! Banbans looking to open up with a heavier investment off one base having taken a fairly quick 2nd gas. Ahah, it's a proxy stargate out the back of Issue's nat, not very easily scoutable but in a god close air position for harass. --- It's not the kind of proxy harass attempt Choya did vs TOP on this map, it's a 3gate voidray attack. Issue suspects something is up since he's got 3 bunkers at the front. He's also on mass marines which are scaring off the voidrays. Issue's wall is backfiring somewhat now with Voidrays charging on it, some decent control from Banbans. 3 charged voidrays now and Banbans with a good pylon placement allowing a warp in on the high ground too. Issue forced to evacuate his nat, he's pumping out 5 marines at a time but Banbans hasn't lost a single voidray yet and is up to 4 o_O 1 finally goes down, they're all pretty low though. Ah now Issue is picking them off slowly but steadily. Banbans able to warp in a lot of stalkers inside the base while Issue is preoccupied taking out the voidray and some harassing stalkers poking at his mineral line. Crucial moment happens when he waltzes a probe in up the front ramp to build a pylon inside Issues base and eventually the number of stalkers overpower the marines before Issue can get a significant number of marauders out. Pretty long and drawn out all in, but Banbans comes out ahead in the end to level up the series 1-1

![]() ![]() 2rax from Issue, it's the reactor + tech lab variation. Probably will push on shells. Double gas from Banbans again, which Issue scouts. --- Issue pushing across the map now, Banbans goes for a 2gate expo himself and the amount of units he gets out with it scares Issue's 2rax pressure off. Issue's definitely worried since he opts to build his CC in base, Stim almost done for him though. Banbans with his expo up and a robo on the way, goes straight into Colossus too so that's a very fast bit of teching. Issue poking out now as his Cshields wrap up, Banbans nicely spreading his sentries out in case of ghosts. --- Issue does push and Banbans forcefields let a few too many units through and they let Issue kill a lot of troops, he backs off to regroup but when he pushes again Banbans has his first Colossus out. Issue snipes it while sacrificing the remainder of his troops. Banbans taking a third, Issue is being very aggressive with his unit positioning in the middle of the map, but he's got no idea about the third. Issue getting ready to take his. Banbans pushing out with 2 Colossus, supplies are level. Issue has got double starports in reaction to the fast Colossus and is pumping out 4 at a time. Roles are reveresed now with Banbans being aggressive with his army while Issue is forced to sit in his nat. --- Huge battle at Issue's nat, some reasonable ff's from Banbans but vikings are destroying his Colossus. It ends up being about the most even trade imaginable with both armies reduced to a few stragglers and supplies almost level, Banbans however has an extra base up so he should macro up a decent advantage shortly. Issue doing a disappointing job building SCV's tbh, third base up now but still only 50 workers. He gets a double medivac drop into Banbans main but can only snipe one gate and loses a full medivac on his exit. Blink, +2+2, and Templar archives on the way for Banbans, and he has a 20 supply lead with a fourth going up. No ghosts from Issue doesn't speak well for his future in this game. ...as soon as I say that he drops an academy xD Interestingly Banbans doesn't seem to be researching storm and is instead just making archons --- Issue going for +2 air. BIG battle in the middle of the map and Banbans comes out a long way ahead, Issue picks up to retreat and manage to sneak some medivacs around into the main to drop. They kill a lot of pylons and a robo, doing some decent damage. Banbans A moving his whole army to deal with drops Banbans still with a big lead, both are trying to get up more bases but Banbans is always at least one ahead. Banbans shuts down Issue's fourth, Issue catches Banbans army split up for a moment but a big blink down + Colossus cliffwalk lets Banbans form up quickly and he comes out ahead on yet another big engagement. --- Issue getting steadily whittled down, Banbans now 70 supply up. Issue desperately trying to kite his way across the map, it's a brave last stand that Banbans unceromoniously crushes. Superior eco was the tale of that game from early mid onwards. Issue GG's out, Banbans takes the series 2-1 -- ## out for sleep! ##

Nice to see San playing well vs Byun too, shame about all the terrible excrement jokes in the cast though >_> Nice 1/4 line up overall: Jjun vs Sage and Coca vs Puma look great. Jjakji vs Puzzle should be nice too, only one I'm not sure about is PvP with San and Tassadar (it's nice to see Tassadar repeating a strong showing this week as well)

![]() This is because he has 0-3 vs aLive and 0-4 vs Curious in his match history. I read through the forum and I saw that these were actually walkovers. But the bracket for first week also displayed the results as 0-3 and 0-4 instead of something like 0-1 which indicates a walkover. I hope you guys display walkovers as 1-0/0-1 on bracket and not post scores like 2-0/3-0/etc. if the match wasn't played. You should also contact teamliquid to remove the walkovers from players match history. One more thing: There is a live report for Tiger vs Fake on this page with Tiger winning 2-0. Why is it displayed as a walkover on bracket?
