Colossi are just better, that's pretty much it. P units have a lot of hit points.

Stalkers get fried so fast against that many colossus one would think having a least a few voidrays would make a huge difference. Will be interesting to see how it plays out long term if it will be viable or not.
Making a star gate switch is dangerous in PvP because it's a hefty investment and opens up a timing for your opponent to attack you. PvP has so little defender's advantage that if you're behind on just a handful of supply, you could lose the battle and then the game.

Those DTs from MC won him the game IMO.

i heard there was a problem with my eyes THERE IS NO PROBLEM

I felt that Hasu was ahead most of the game, and that it came down to just having more collosus. I'm pretty sure that Hasu had more units and better up's, but i guess critical mass colossi literally melt the ground.

Hasu also had like 14 more probes. So MC's army was larger than the supplies indicated. He had 30 more supply at one point and hasu had better ups. MC was behind. Colossus won, archons lost.
Control won, and poorer control lost. It at least would have been a more even battle if Hasu spread out as iNcontroL suggested. Well he suggested Hasu winning, but even coming out even Hasu had better economy. Regardless, I'm glad MC won. Love him or hate him, it's just more interesting with MC around (<3)

Actually that got me thinking. Those + armor upgrades didn't really do that much when you have 32-40 supply in Archons. It's still better to have them for your Zealots, Stalkers, and Colossi, but perhaps MC only upgrading attack was the most efficient thing he could do, more corner cutting while behind. I think if he spent that money on a second forge and armor in that game, he might have lost the necessary critical mass to win the battles he needed, due to fewer units and the relative weakness of armor upgrades against attack upgraded colossi.

Yeah, especially with shields, its very easy to avoid any meaningful damage from storms as protoss

I would imagine PvP late game will get more figured out soon. So few PvPs actually go that long that I'm sure not a lot of pros actually know what to do. Hopefully that'll become the standard PvP with time and tech switches and unit comps will be better.

Also note that colossus are much, much more efficient than the reaver was in many battle situations because they are far less vulnerable to sniping and don't require extensive micro in order to attack effectively. Plus storm is a lot weaker.

I've seen HT be very effectively in late game PvP against heavy Void Ray/Colossus Comps and Harass.
Game was Huk vs some Korean Protoss. Huk won.

they can but you need a ton of hts I believe......just so you blanket the entire enemy army. Having 2 or 3 storms is kinda worthless in pvp (unlike verse terran or zerg) you need like 6-8 storms to be cost effective
