hasuobs is obiously really good.. but it seems to me that he is relying on Colossus and templar to win him games every time instead of opening with a solid upgraded gateway army which imo is the way to go vs T

I just think the usage of the whole tier-thing in starcraft is not very well defined.


Plus he forgot tech lab for BCs so they're T5 too. Yeah, it's a pretty arbitrary and stupid system...

plenty of players already do that

the problem is 1.) it's harder to micro
and 2.) when ur opponent has buncha vikings u can lose 3-4 templars and warp prism to one or two volleys

theres is NO tiers in starcraft and never was

Feels like Kas is the better player through midgame with decision making, timings, and general macro. If Hasu can survive into lategame without being too far down he's got a better sense of how he wants to be transitioning between unit comps to take advantage of what Kas has been doing.

there is no tier 4 in starcraft. its still classified as tier 3.

uhh basically when you require an extra building after getting to the "tier" i.e battlecruisers need more than just a tech lab to build its essentially another tier

Hmm that does seem a bit too micro-intensive though considering that you have to position the army, micro the warp prism and ht all at the same time. If someone pulls that off it'll be really impressive, but I don't think its very likely.

Why terran can't just have separate tiers for barracks, factory and starport, like ghost would be tier 3 in barracks, thor would be tier 3 in factory and cattlecruiser would be tier 3 in starport. :o

that depends on the meta game.. why would they build vikings if you arent building collossi?
