lol but Catz was prepared for that. He banked alot of money and when he saw no timing he made like 15 Mutas. If it was a timing he would have make roach/hydra. It was just brilliant. and that's why also why he did all the buildings at the same time, to confuse the protoss on his choice.

Why sit roaches under them when you can float overlords (loaded with banelings) alongside them? If stalkers blink in, they're dead.
Unless a zerg puts the brood out of position, it's more often than not storms that actually kill the brood lords. 2 storms kill roaches/hydra, then you blink under.
Using overlords just means 3 storms, which kill both overlords and broods, dunno if it is actually better.

If Hasu loses I'm going to cry.

That's the reason we don't see muta play in ZvP much these days. I know, but you can hide a spire anywheeeeeeeeere. not easy to scout it.

Of course they can. Protoss have the same scouting potential if not more than any other race.

On a map like Shakuras or Metalopolis, I could imagine Hasu getting a 3rd vs mutas.

Youre right out of all the races Protoss is the one w/ a problem scouting and PvZ is so hard for them especially when they can't win down 2-3 bases against waves of 200/200 hive tech

Of course they can. Protoss have the same scouting potential if not more than any other race. Hasu chose to reserve his sentry energy for FFs. Nothing was preventing him from scouting with hallus.

Overlords can dodge storms. Broodlords can't, but you can spread them out. Dunno, Zerg does seem to lack an answer to HTs but other than that it's pretty solid.

Blink stalkers are a huge issue against Brood Lords, but what if you left a small cluster of banelings right below the Broods so that if Stalkers blink up they're immediately on top of the banes? Sounds pretty iffy. It could be good, but how many banes do you need to kill a stalker? I think lings + fungals are better for guarding BLs. Unrelated, but another nifty trick in ZvP is 2-3 corrupters + 1 overseer for hunting observers.
I feel like it's worth experimenting with at the very least (both for the gas requirements and the bane:stalker ratio), but what I was thinking was that one way or another, you're going to trade trying to protect Broods vs blink Stalkers. You're either going to lose a few Broods before the stalkers can be cleaned up or you're going to lose the banes needed to clean up, but the banes are [possibly] more expendable.

I'm pretty sure he'd have died to a 2 base warpgate all-in anyway, after spending money on so much tech AND taking a third. He had no units and no spinecrawlers.

Hmm, this allin is tough to pull off (well for me atleast lol)

No you can't. You have to wait until lair tech, and muta play can be discerned depending on the gas income and prior production even if you don't see the spire. Trying to hide it like Destiny is just a cutesy move.
