I demand that Hasu's account gets checked for a Khaydarin amulet hack after all those storms

Interesting play from CatZ - gg, and onto game 3

To be honest I never gave catz much credit and hadn't really seen any good games from him, but that changed my mind right there. He played that sooo well and beating hasuobs in zvp is quite an accomplishment. It's amazing how overpowered good zergs make their race look.

Man that map is so shitty for zergs, its actually digusting that so many tournaments are using it in the map pool. Great play by CatZ though.

Seeing that game makes me want to do a 7 gate all-in every PvZ, just to teach Zergs not to open Mutas.

Catz might not be the best Zerg player, but his playstyle is totally unique and definitely entertaining.

Baneling drops are insanely good. But against Protoss players of that level, I don't think it is really possible without landing those fungal growths that basically force the opponent to either loose half his army without retaliating or loose everything :/

The impending BL/Baneling bomb gave me an idea. Blink stalkers are a huge issue against Brood Lords, but what if you left a small cluster of banelings right below the Broods so that if Stalkers blink up they're immediately on top of the banes?

Sounds like an excellent idea tbqh, spread the word.

Sounds pretty iffy. It could be good, but how many banes do you need to kill a stalker? I think lings + fungals are better for guarding BLs.

Unrelated, but another nifty trick in ZvP is 2-3 corrupters + 1 overseer for hunting observers.

Baneling drops are great for protecting broodlords. Why sit roaches under them when you can float overlords (loaded with banelings) alongside them? If stalkers blink in, they're dead.

Bah, got the feeling that Hasu was playing better overall, just wasn't quite sure the perfect way to handle it, Catz playing really sloppy, losing like 12 muta for one Colossus, 50% of his baneling drops died to storm

agree with this, protoss doesn't have an answer for this quite yet I feel. but I'm sure they'll find one :D

I imagine when Idra commentates the games next week, they will get a ton of viewers.

what wp? LOOOL
the only reason the zerg won the game was because the amount of greediness he had

unfortunately protoss cant scout if zerg is being greedy or not and at the same time punish it

So how do you get a 3rd base as a protoss vs. mutas there?

It's called the 5/6 gateway push. That's the reason we don't see muta play in ZvP much these days.
