Wasn't a good decision, but definetly not a terrible one either.

He makes rudimentary mistakes, whether it be multi-tasking, macroing, or decision making, but no one knew how to beat his mass gateway style before except for thorzain, but he's on the other side of the bracket. Kas presses Adelscott in every game, forces him to make those mistakes. You don't fluke your way into the RO8 in one of the most stacked SC2 tournaments to date. That's the silliest thing I've ever heard.

Yeah, that 2 wounded marauders + medivac drop at adel's high ground natural left me speechless. He killed like 5 probes and 2 free stalkers without taking any real damage.

Not that getting to the Ro8 in the TSL is a non-scary thing to have achieved. If youre keeping your gateways synced you should be around that before you make the next production cycle though. Adelscott having 2k with only 5 gateways is just plain bad multi task. Personally i think Artosis is giving him too much credit

The idea was probably to sacrifice his third, force field his ramp and trap the terran army in a bad position. Then go back and steamroll Kas when he had no army. He just failed to capture his army and didn't consider the possibility of that drop. Wasn't a good decision, but definetly not a terrible one either. This. Way too many people criticizing amazing players like adel and being too stupid to understand what the reasoning behind the decision actually was.
