Its time to enjoy the matches, keep the whining out of this thread. GL HF! Also, don't reply to the whining and ignore it: have faith in the mods, we read every post and act swiftly. You're making it worse. Enjoy! |

Excluding 4 gate / cannon rush / rush. Only thing Cruncher does is wait in base until 200 200 deathball (voidray colossus etc) completes and move out. This is at least what I watch from his casted games.
and there is watching White-Ra, which is amazing and exciting.
Ok so... excluding MANY strategies like various "rushes", he then plays to Protoss' strengths which is getting a large army. What a surprise...
Despite that, you said that right after he did a midgame stargate/warpgate push. Wtf are you talking about?

Time for void ray collosus plateau :DD

Mondy is awesome! When he attacks it is complete chaos for his opponent. The first game at first I was disappointed to see the drop at the main die... but then I saw the natural being destroyed!

You can drop on any map......

Problem, IdrA?
Look to Mondragon for the "messiah" tactics! :D that was no deathball go troll somewhere else That's the whole point of ZvP.. avoid de deathball. tbf, Idra does not have the multitasking and good decision making necessary to play like Mondi. Desicion making? Maybe. Multitask? Definitely not... Have you ever watched his stream?

It's very surprising how Mondragon took his fast third with no tech, hold a scary push with a total of 7 queens and spore crawlers while starting roach when Cruncher appeared on his creep, and suddenly his macro exploded into rainbows, he took his 4th (and I believe also his 5th) while doing multi-pronged attack.
Actually, I'm astonished.

Did I honestly not see a single post with:"That was easy!" after that match ? weird
Game 2 on old shakuras, it's pretty good for PvZ Good to zerg overall too but I think now we'll really see what Mondi is about.

The map did favor Mondi, but I don't know, that still looked to me like he was in good form. Cruncher even let his resources get high there for a while, which isn't the map's fault. We'll see, but I'm excited to see these old school BW players like Mondi and Boxer really have a presence in this tournament. Boxer is in the NASL, which is amazing, I wish Mondi would play more often!

Thats the same map as in 2nd game vs Zeerax..
Ling runby anyone ?

Mondragon would easily be the best foreigner if he played Sc2 fulltime. His mechanics in BW were solid but not quite as good as Korean's or someone like Idra. But his game sense/strategies were as good as anyone playing the game Korean or not. That would translate amazingly to Sc2 where mechanics aren't as hard and game sense is even more important -_-. A shame he can't dedicate more time to it

When your been pressured that hard you are bound to make mistakes, its all part of the plan dude.

Yeah in the beginning it was a mistake, but after Mondragon sniped the Robo early on during his attack, Cruncher couldn't react anymore.

coL.CrunCher plants an early pylon at his natural and goes Forge first into fast expand.
MYM.Mondragon goes gas before pool into hatch.

Seriously How the hell can there be twice as many TSL3 viewers as active TL members?

"You have no units that can attack air, so it scares Zerg from attacking" BUT MONDRAGON HAS ROACHES! =D
