Its time to enjoy the matches, keep the whining out of this thread. GL HF!
Also, don't reply to the whining and ignore it: have faith in the mods, we read every post and act swiftly. You're making it worse. Enjoy!

Ro16 day 3
Sen vs boxer was a fantastic match. I love the way sen engages with his mutas and then immediately send his forces in to kill the tanks. Notice how he always sends a single ling to tank the first volley? It's amazing. Good job boxer though, holding off sen's agression.

Ro16 Day4 Maybe I'm a little critical because I play protoss
Goody vs naniwa was a bad pvt. Naniwa made a lot of micro mistakes, but goody made a ton more. naniwa's forcefields were off, he didn't cancel that gateway, he didn't micro his stalkers at all, his zealots were in the back, his collosus were in the wrong spot, his phoenix were super ineffective, however, what I do like about naniwa though is he reads the situations perfectly. He knows exactly what to make at what time. He knows when to cut probes, when to make stalkers and he punishes opponents who do not prepare for collosus and he knows the timing of when to engage, which is probably the most important skill of a good protoss.

It's truly crazy how after months of the game being out, players still make the tiny tiny mistakes, truly goes to show how difficult this game really is.

That's the whole point of ZvP.. avoid de deathball. tbf, Idra does not have the multitasking and good decision making necessary to play like Mondi.

Desicion making? Maybe. Multitask? Definitely not... Have you ever watched his stream?

Yep,
He's a 200APM guy, I've seen better even from other foreigners.. He has really solid builds though... the guys practices a lot.

I am almost certain that Mondragon is slower than IdrA lol, what has apm got to do with anything?

As the game progresses and players start finding new things to do in-game, APM will become more and more important.
Think about how SC1 evolved from early 'pro' players with 100 APM like Grrrrrr to mid-APM player like Savior -- though he seemed to peak upwards of 400APM at some points during the game through heavy use of defilers -- to players like Effort or Jaedong who can easily maintain a 500APM throughout the whole game.

IMHO, players like Idra prematurely complain about balance, as if they were the end of all there is to know about Z in SC2. Remember, even after 2 years of 14-hour practice days, Idra was pretty much a C level player in the pro Korean scene in BW. Players like Snow, who came to CJ after Idra, managed to get to the A-team in less than 3 months... so yeah, we have to wait for players like Snow to show us what can be done with each SC2 race.

You can't compare BW and SC2 like that. When the pros were playing with 100 APM there were idle workers all over the place and they failed to perform flanks (because performing a flank with more control groups than you have hotkeys as a Zerg is hardly perfected to this date).

Oh.. I can. It's not about the particulars of each game what I am comparing, but the fact that no player right now can come forward and claim he's playing SC2 optimally. Improvements in all stages of the game will be made in the future.
