Did you just notice this now? The english language rarely escapes his mouth unscathed.

Also, I don't see the point to take a 3rd at 30, your main and nat are not at all saturated and you have enough larvae anyway, I really don't understand why he did that.

Great strategy by Dragon...be curious to see if he is going to be a trend setter for other zergs with this roach vs void strategy. A fast stargate is the foundation of a 2 gate expand because (in theory) it protects against roaches...now that it is proven it doesn't this could change everything.
Cruncher's air play could have worked...he just needed more phoenix. 'A rule' is one phoenix for each queen and the rest of your air units are voids. Phoenix are just so much quicker to produce and cheaper, that you do want to produce them instead of voids if possible. Plus if had produced the phoenix first they would have had more GB's.

All the 'this is how you play Zerg' rubbish is really going to start grating on me. Cruncher played that game absolutely horribly - that's hardly the basis by which to judge how Zerg can win games.
|
The point that people are making is that Mondragon has the correct mentality, he's denying the Protoss the ability to get the deathball going.
Too many Zergs wait for that deathball to amass and then complain about their inability to beat it.
He just picks it apart, wears it down, splits the army up and then goes and makes himself a sandwich while the Protoss gets rolled by attacks in every base.

Cruncher should have known never to open voidrays against Mondragon, he will just get countered with Roaches.

Problem, IdrA?
Look to Mondragon for the "messiah" tactics! :D that was no deathball go troll somewhere else The point is not letting the Protoss getting the deathball ... Mondragon plays with "just a few units" ... five here and five there ... and harrasses all over. Thats something very few Zerg do but it is exciting to watch. Thanks Mondragon for entertaining us. Not letting? Cruncher did a ridiculously bad attack into Mondragon's front with almost no chance of success.
A ridiculously bad attack that Mondy barely held. When there were two voidrays still up and Mondy only had one queen alive I thought he 'd lost it. The hydras spawned literally just in time.

Mondragon's play sooo solid~ x3

Why do they keep talking about commercials and then just continue showing the matchup graphic? I'm confused.

Mondi plays the same style as me. Old school can work. Besides that, I don't really like that map because Zerg is really strong on it.

To all the people saying Crunchers Robo died- he should've made an obs before his colossus. Not making an obs from your robo first, especially vs Mondi, is just stupid given the power of burrowed roaches.

Mondragons roach balls however were ginormous. As incontrol would say, mondgragon brought his a-balls that game.

Mondragon abusing mobility is so beatiful, brilliant and heart warming.

Actually, as impressed as I was at first by that game, I'm starting to think that it was more Cruncher being really bad than Mondragon playing well. He was sitting on 2 bases with 2 gates and a stargate when Mondragon's first attack came, his macro was terrible and he never made any observers against mass burrowed roaches. Though I'm sure that no one is surprised about Cruncher being a walkover.
