It was actually great play, just made a terrible decision to take the gold base and try to keep it. Also he never freed up supply for getting broodlords

Ret should have known that Ace was a korean level micro expert and would blink/FF his ass just like every other protoss has done to the zerg sence the beta Broodlords >> Ultras esp without melee upgrades. Unfortunately Ret didn't have the supply for either of them since he maxed out on roach/hydra/corr

Ya, that was a terrible place to have a battle. Yep, you have to cancel that gold so you can form a great arc, then if the P FF you, you burrow the roaches and retreat, that works really well. (and if the P hug the forcefields you can attack again and use the FF to your advantage)

you mean a savior?

I cant help but feel that ret is too greedy but also makes decisions that you stop making once you get enough time in. Probably just me and I'm not saying i'm better than him but still, cant shake that feeling when seeing him play.

Ace is so good... really shows the difference in level of play... almost always making good positional and attack decisions and amazing control while maintaining strong macro mechanics... <3

No dropping, no burrow when theres million sentrys, no nydys, waits till protoss gets maxed, bad play by ret in all means.

Well so is everything Zerg's are trying that's non-standard. Mid-game drops, nydus, bling drops, mutas, etc. It's all very risky.

Pretty much. Zerg players get all absorbed into this "macro" idea that if they sit back and don't get attacked/defend successfully and get their high tech units, they somehow win end game....that's not true.

Oh dear, they left the mic on.

At what point? After he already lost his army by fighting at the worst place possible... or while he still had the advantage?

Reminds me of a similar game...from earlier today. That I won't talk about cause we're not allowed to spoil. But...should've gone with drops and nydus...

Haha, oh snap. They left the mics on.

The entire game ret had a huge supply advantage and did nothing with it. Next thing he knows he's tied up in roaches and attacks at the worst possible angle, jamming himself beside a hatch he did not need.
Come on ret you're so much better than this.

hahahahha microphone fail

Today in TSL morrow was maxed vs hasuobs with a 130 limit army with one single colossus. See how that game ended.

Ouch...someone forgot to turn off their mics
