Other than that, perfect vods, a few BNET lag issues, but nothing major 'cept last game.. ![]() And I love the fact that there are no spoilers at all in the splitup parts on justin, usually you can see how long every game is before it's starting etc, altho you could see how long the series are gonna be, you don't know which game is gonna be a long one.. ![]() Well spent money for my part, especially if they keep it up (and will probably only get better) Thanks NASL! > ![]()

Is it just me or is this wrong? The UK is on British Summer Time (BST) now since then clocks moved forward, so the UK is on GMT+1 over the summer. So it's actually 7pm UK time the first match starts I think.

I think Gretorp did a great job! He's not the best caster in the world, but is he the most experienced caster in the world? Of course not. He's already good and will only get better casting for hours every day. I think he goes well with InControl too. If you want his casting to be improved, try constructive criticism. If people turn out to have the same concerns as you, they will agree with you and surely Gretorp will try to improve those particular aspects of his casting. No need to get insane saying "GRETORP SHOULDN'T CAST A MAJOR TOURNAMENT HE MADE A FEW MINOR MISTAKES" he did better than the average caster and it is only a matter of time before his casting- and the entire production of the show- become top notch. I do think lag was an issue though =/ but this seems to be out of the NASL's hands =( hopefully it gets better. Great games though, missed the last two but I really enjoyed watching the first three games and enjoyed the casting as well. Didn't mind the few commercials and the LQ stream was pretty decent, but I will definitely consider buying a season pass for the VODs and HQ stream; seems worth it considering the sheer number of high level games. I really do hope they find a way to minimize lag though... It's hard to judge everything after one day, yet try to voice your concerns in the form of construction criticism! Make your money from ad revenue like other sports, and stop milking the fans. E-Sports doesn't have enough publicity to support 1) a studio 2) casters and studio personnel 3) prize pool 4) bandwidth cost and other website, vod storage cost and so on. 5) did i mention an enormous prize pool? Yes there is publicity, and yes you could get it for free, yet the HQ stream would be 320p, the prize pool would be 20k, and the production value would be terrible, and pro players wouldn't waste their time. It'll grow though, but for now this isn't a televised event that has more than 100,000k viewers in a local area. In the whole world there was what, 25000k viewers? Not nearly as big as ANY televised sport yet so we have to inject money into it. It sucks but that's how business works. They're not milking the fan, they just wouldn't make any money from ad revenue with amount of money this production cost.

The production values are lower than Dreamhack which was free, so I don't get where you're seeing this value. You can spin it however you want: it's 3 months of content, you're supporting esports, blah blah blah. Those are nothing more than marketing ploys to get sheep like you to feel good about parting with your money. Oh, and I can easily afford it too. Just simply not going to buy a product that is not worth the money. Perhaps one day people might understand that concept. I don't know about where you live but around here it's $12-13 for a movie in theatres and $6-7 per beer at the bar, quite frankly $25 for something to watch with breakfast every day is well worth it ... If you genuinely never spend on anything that is just entertainment you must lead a pretty boring life, and as entertainment goes this is cheap. Edit: on a technical note VODs are up and loading really well for me in good quality, just watched all the games and there were some pretty good ones. Commentators aren't the best due to their relative lack of practice casting (when compared with Tastosis or Day9) but it works out fine.

if you see a guy constantly winning with aggression early game you shouldnt tell him to grow a pair and play real, in reality its the guy that cant defend that has to learn how to defend it or stop taking so big risks in early game anyhow i like nasl so far, ive already told them what i think about the latency issues from EU to KOR and im sure they know it by now. you guys shouldnt complain or blame NASL for it. remember it was you guys who wanted players from all over the world and the koreans knew aswell that it would lag alot for them to play. it also lags alot for the european to play vs koreans too which many doesnt even think about. if i was living in korea i wouldnt participate in foreigner events. i would go to lans like MC or ace instead. in the future i think people are going to realize its not playable to have 3 different regions batteling online and i think we will only have koreans vs foreigners at lans instead. encourage people who organize lans to invite koreans rather than online leagues or tournaments imo
