You realize that WWE isn't a sport or other form of competition and the outcomes are rigged right? Why not just compare it to sitcoms?

So unfair, and totally exploitative and against the rules. IMO FIFA did not respond correctly, and the cheaters got rewarded for it. That was not what MC did, MC deserved to win game 5 by responding to the weakness in Ra's build. more like not scouting. his build was standard.

Because in that case, that cheese is not viable at all and he would not think to scout for it. That final game was ALL about Whitera not knowing that version of Shakuras Plateau... Actually MC didnt know either, because he scouted wrojng place also against MorroW.

That what makes long games more epics. cause the luck factor diminishes every second putting the results on players hands

You play to win. MC didn't break any rules. He didn't bretuzzi whitera back stage. He picked a strategy within the rules of the game that won. I'll repeat. You play to WIN.

Do you think it's strange to get upset when the well mannered guy who wouldn't think of all-inning, is up 2-0 against a player with an aura of invincibility and then loses to 3 all-ins in a row? Because his first game four gate wasn't all in, and 100% based on being able to throw pylons in his opponent's mineral line with his lucky 1HP probe?

These situations are NOTHING alike. Trying to win and trying to win by cheating are two different worlds buddy. mhh, uruguay didn't cheat... They somehow pulled out the last possible way to win. They changed a goal into a red card and a penalty kick. What is commonly a pretty bad exchange. And it wasn't nice to watch if you were rooting for Ghana... But I think for uruguayans it was super super awesome :D But either way this situation doesn't match to dreamhack, because Uruguay was the inferior team in the last halfhour of that game. It was the last possible move. Whereas MC had a 2 games win streak in his back and it was a in my opinion intelligent move, because nobody indluding Ra expected his move.

This needs to be quoted to infinity. MC won. There are no rules to prevent cheese, there are rules to prevent handball, WWE is not a sport.

What MC did on last game was a gamble that rely on a mistake of his opponent instead of his own abilitiy of outplay him. And that is what hurts esports. its like watching Rock-Paper-Scissors tournaments. There are just too much luck involved and thats not interesting. That what makes long games more epics. cause the luck factor diminishes every second putting all on players hands Is exploiting weaknesses in your opponents and taking advantage of them not allowed in real sports? Wtf?

Every trainer would tell you that fouling the last man to prevent a goal is the best thing to do and they would fire you if you don't do that because it's against the rules. You get a red card but you prevent a goal, you cheese but if you fail you lose the game. The example works in my opinion.

If we're ever at a point where players are just playing to entertain fans and not to win, then SC2 as an ESPORT will definitely fail. Everyone needs to stop killing MC and recognize that he did something that was very smart given the way the map was and how he saw WR play in the earlier games. Not to mention this is something that is definitely not a sure win. The first part you wrote is very true, in many of the greatest BW games you see the players take into considerations a hundred and one cheeses and pressures while doing their economical builds, and the big reason the games go on for as long as they do is that noone is able to secure any big enough advantage until late in the game - because they don't make mistakes like not scouting proxy gates in their base or knowing the spawn positions for the current map. I sincerely hope that when every stupid early game mistake is ironed out from Protoss play, the PvP will be interesting and fun to watch. Sure as hell doesn't feel fun to watch right now tho, regardless of who wins. Currently it feels like Iron has a sufficent lead in mechanical skill and strategy/tactics to almost always eek out enough of an advantage to decide the games in his favor very early. Does that make him the better player? Hell yes. Are the games entertaining? Not really, but that's not MC's fault but rather his opponents and the general low level of development of the PvP matchup.
