he reasons that all the recent tourney result will force blizzard to buff zerg sooner or later , that"s why it would be a waste to switch races.

This interview is amazing. Wow, the production of this tournament is off the charts. Really impressed. MLG WATCH THIS

Idra has been my favourite zerg player since the beginning of the beta. But I kinda have to agree with Tylers (quite angry) post. Idra has a very defeatist attitude vs protoss in general.
Idra made a huge awesome come back in game one. But he also lost his come back when he kept putting supplies into hydras and roaches. The previous week on state of the game he said himself that the only viable option vs toss is infesters. YET he made none on metalopolis and instead made a lot of ground units that cant all attack at once due to the narrow pathways on metal. He then threw away his broodlord army in the centre and then complaints about balance again. IDRA keeps losing to himself due to his bad mind set. Jesus fucking christ please get a grip and pull yourself out of the imbalance discussion and start playing the game instead.
Like I'm a big Idra fan but this is getting ridiculous... Idra if you haven't realized you are losing supporters with this kind of defeatist play.

I hope for viewers sake, Sjow wins. White-Ra won't be able to take a game off MC if MC doesn't play risky.

It's not the second game that martyr's him... IdrA "rushed" the Spire and greater Spire so he didnt have time to upgrade armor for the Broodlords. This is bad against Stalkers with +3 attack upgrade and he kinda had to use the Broodlords right after they were done. IdrA didnt really do any harrassing and most of the time the harrassing player wins. Taking down the 3rd base with an army isnt harrassing, warping in five Stalkers from a Warp Prism to take down Drones or using Phoenix / Void Ray to snipe Queens is ... Actually, air armor is mainly useless vs blink stalkers. You will lower their damage from 17 to 14.. not even 20%. It's great vs phoenix/carrier/marine/thor, but vs stalkers/voidrays, not so much.
As for the harass, he couldn't do it because he lost too much to the phoenix. That's where MC took the lead, and never let go of it. The only reason Idra was apparently ahead (in supply) was because roach/hydra takes an unusual amount of supply for its cost, and because MC was teching and expanding rather than going pure army.
The truth is that Idra was never ahead, after failing to properly defend vs stargate opening. MC could have won any way he wanted.

It's 2 AM here. I just wanted to see a few matches. Now I can't stop. Dreamhack is so awesome

These little interview extras are awesome.

Jinro is saying what I said ! He plays on "old" TvP style because he couldn't practice a lot last few weeks. Don't worry Jinro, we still love you

I think Idra needs to get in on the not-a-therapy-couch XvP therapy session

IdrA throws away 3-4 queens a few ovies and some drones vs a phoenix opening... has MC on the ropes but then stops attacking...
IdrA gets 7 bl's and sticks his army in a choke spot and dies easily "PVZ IMBALANCED!"
MC had 0 defenses at both his 3rd/4th. IdrA took a late 4th / never corrupted after killing the Collo in the first fight and didn't scout expansions. Late on infesters as well. Had he waited for infesters and massed some bl's while harrassing the expos with lings or something he'd be fine and that is ONLY after him NOT throwing 4 base of production into 2 collo (idra had corruptors out) and 5 stalkers...
The thing that pisses me off the most though is that OK so you make a mistake at the end and it costs you the game.. why give up on game 2? You had him on the ropes like 3 separate times EVEN IF you want to argue "I can't win!" you at least came REALLY REALLY close vs the best fucking protoss on the planet... what more do you want? Give game 2 a try jesus While I respect you immensely as a player and what you do for the community, I gotta disagree with you a bit here. Well not disagree, as idra definitely played it wrong. But the correct play is still so difficult to pull off. I just feel as maybe you don't have a complete perspective on the matter Sure, he attack in a choke. Metal is basically a giant choke, there wasn't really any other options. He could've positioned a bit better, but I still think with MCs insane micro, it hard to idras to come out on top with those two army comps. Maybe you have played zerg and know how they feel late game, and I know you're worlds better than I'll ever be, but imo, zerg late game is incredibly difficult. Roachs get murdered by stalkers/collsus, as do hydras. If you kill of collosus with corruptors you have a dozen worthless units or 24 supply of shit (2 supply corruptor i think, im that bad that I don't know for sure) I do know what you're saying about game 2 though. It's possible to beat protoss, and he came really close.
You're getting the message of this post and Tyler's totally wrong. Whether or not if Idra would have won by doing those things he stated doesn't really matter.
It was the fact that Idra SHOULD BE DOING HIS JOB. Playing every game like his last and giving it 100%. Idra obviously wasn't doing that and that is why Geoff (his teammate) is bringing this up.
He even states that Zerg late game is incredibly difficult, which may or may not be true (time is the only thing that tell whether or not ZvP is trule balanced or imbalanced). But Idra shouldn't have given up like that. He should do his job and give his 100% regardless of his personal bias or whatever that may make him thnk that the game is broken.

I flew down from Calgary last year. It wasn't actually that bad. If you need friends to go with Im sure theres a bunch from TL that'd go with you.

Besides some of the lag and sound which happens, this has been great production and entertainment. Hats off to the DH crew.

okay but seriously who is that host and why is he so handsome

i'm hoping the NASL tonight can surpass this, but I don't think it will.

Could anyone link me to the Low quality version of the aftonbladet stream? Can't find it and the HQ version lags for me.

I don't see why people are saying that IdrA THREW away his game by 6 pooling last game... If ANY other zerg pro would 6 pool that second game I GUARANTEE you that people wouldn't say that they "threw away the game", nobody says it about TLOs cheese (even tho he's terran) and honestly it's up to IdrA how he wants to play his matches.
Either way, IdrA had the first game but I feel that he went too passive, he should've kept pushing instead of going back to macro game and then let the protoss max out... I feel that if you go ALL HYDRA you can't just show your army and then not attack for 5 minutes, if you're gonna max hydras you need to do something with them FAST, as in when the protoss DOESN'T have colossi etc... Instead he let the protoss react accordingly to mass hydra, wich is psi storm and colossus. If he would've pushed out instead earlier I think the outcome could've been different.
