This is against the World Champion. They played the most straight up macro game I've seen in a while and Idra lost. He knew MC was better than him and couldn't go through the whole process of another long macro game with all the pressure so he tried a cheese. I don't blame him. I don't see why some people see it as a balance issue too, all games have little balance issues but I honestly don't believe Idra's decision to cheese was caused by the balance of the game. MVP is the World Champion. Just saying.

This happens to me so many times on ladder...try my ass of for minute advantages, get in a better position, play the game of my life, then lose to a Protoss because my attention lapsed for one second and he could capitalize. It's so discouraging i basically just don't ladder for an hour or two, if not leave the game for the rest of the day. Keep I'm mind I'm a noob who plays the game at low masters level for fun. It must be so much worse for some1 that actually does this for a living I play zerg. Idra doesn't have an excuse. He fucked up; it was his decisions to put his broodlords out of his position. No one cares about his personal feelings on balance since he plays SC2 for a living. He's not pre-GSL4 San: he can't go "Well I keep making mistakes but I actually play for fun".

And as a spectator - it is simply pathetic to watch - and not entertaining at all. You can't let frustration get the best of you - as a competitor you have to to play your best and try until the very end. Really? No one has EVERY done an onside kick during the opening kickoff in the playoff before, much less in an important game. Nope, never. Never seen a flee flicker, or half back option, nope. UNHEARD OF.

really, I couldn´t believe my eyes how well idra played against MC in the first game. He almost got it, but he really messed up the last fight. A protoss with this amount of bases, even a gold base is unstoppable, that´s how it work and it´s okay. As zerg, it´s your duty to just not let that happen, but with the pheonix harass in the beginning, that was very hard to do. I´m cheering for White-Ra, GOO! Use the special TACTICS!
