Whatever the merits or mistakes of either player, Idra came back from a great many unfortunate situations that would have been the end of a lesser zerg. A 6 pool is a coin-flip, had MC not scouted at that time, Idra would have won. It's really not a coinflip on Xel'naga. It's more like russian roulette with 5 rounds chambered.

Take Boxer's comebacks, where you get all teary eyed watching him seeing to first glimpse of hope when his main is in shreds, and then with insane micro and wit inches back into the game with moves you wouldn't be able to imagine (the Goliath island drops vs Joyo's Carrier anyone?). Watching this game however, I could do nothing but yawn, and at the end blinking all your stalkers to kill the lords and psi-storming hydras even I could pull off. Funnily enough the commentators thought Broodlords was Idra's saviors, but I don't think I have seen one match where Broodlords do anything but kill the Zerg vs blink Stalkers. I don't understand why Idra never GG'd when MC got up his third. I don't care about balance, just give me 3 races that are interesting to spectate, not just 2, since the risk of one player being P is too high. Maybe because you were rooting for Idra so hard, that makes MC winning slightly less exciting.

MC had 5 Stalkers 2 Colossi and a few Zealots / Sentries, Idra could just have attacked there and then, he had a huge window. He also could have waited until he saw MC warp in some units and then ran in a bunch of lings to the third while the gates were on a cooldown and so on. Numerous ways to win.

Then again, I feel sorry for Idra, he's got so much potential when it comes to his macro and unit composition and making these small mistakes when it comes to positioning/micro and the problem is they're never small against good players. And the mindset ... Like someone else said, Idra's worst enemy is himself.

What i don't understand is that when, for instance, Huk is interviewed about PvZ balance he always says "Well, i don't think it's imbalanced, but i do think Zerg is much harder to play and it's harder for zerg to win" Uhm...so basically you are saying it's imbalanced. Terran in SCBW was by far the hardest race to play, but some of the best players are terran and they get quite a few wins, to say the least. Just cause it's harder doesn't mean it's worse, it just means that the skill cap is higher.
