Yeah, I was actually wondering has he actually dropped a game the whole time through the Open Brackets and perhaps the Championship pool as well?

But reading this thread (and other whines) makes me want to never post here again because of how everyone jumps on the same bandwagon of complaining and criticism for something that was out of MLG's control at the time.
Hindsight is always 20:20. Applaud yourselves for being so smartass and condescending toward the organizers of an event that's trying to embrace the game you all love.

The whining is completely justified imo, MLG has a history of terrible streaming problems. They failed again on the first day, the other times i've seen they got their shit together for the second and subsequent days (that finals misshap the only exception) but today was even worse. There was a total of half of one series and half of a game of another seriesthat were live games streamed today. The only thing else we got was one and two thirds of another series cast via replay. This was over what 10 hours or something?
To say that they failed is ignoring some important facts that they've already explained. It's not THEM, it's the ISP, which is largely out of their control. What do you want them to do? Start digging into the ground and putting in more cables for bandwidth? But don't look at it in the logical manner, no, just blindly blame them for this problem because everyone else is doing it.
Children blame others because they haven't learned how to be responsible for their actions. If MLG wants to continue in the role they have set themselves in, they must learn to gain control of these events.

There was no day 2. It was basically 95% black screens and 5% streaming matches.

oh god.... when they cast this live at MLG, the audience went nuts every time the hallucinated pnixes failed to see it... also, i always thought Destiny would be taller- but i will say, he is much more chill irl than i thought he would be from the few times i've actually watched his stream...
ps- Destiny, if you read this- your comment to Lz when you were sitting down ((i asked about his glasses, for a reference of when)) was hysterical!

Soooo, how are they goin to catch up? What's the plan for day 3?

The matches for Day 2 were played. I don't think they have any intentions on streaming them. They are just going to ignore them and continue with Day 3 tomorrow.

this huk-idra talk is just so much fun. really showing that "nerds", as SC community likes to call themselves, are really nerds cause dont know a thing about sports. idra fans shouting "punish huk" but really, just because there is a rule doesnt mean you blindly follow it. it happens when there is an ACTUAL law and everyone knows its stupid, then people dont get punished for breaking it. and in almost every sport, exceptions may be golf or chess, you talk to opponents during the game. its called trash-talk and if you arent vulgar, rasist etc., its OK. why? cause professionalism means that you perform equally even when the crowd is booing at you during free-throws, when your opponent tells you that you arent at your best etc. if youre a pro, you just gotta know how to handle it. thats all. people like idra cause his anger is fun, but with his attitude no wonder huk poked him a little and lets face it, it was funny, who wouldnt? P.S sry if my english is wrong
I am at the event. I got on the stream with my ROOT gaming poster. I got my GG button autographed by day9, djwheat, huk, catz, destiny, select, qxc, slush, drewbie, TLO, and Kiwikaki. Im having an effing great time.
Nevertheless, this will be my last MLG event. You know its bad when my impromptu "LAN plz!" sign gets more attention than the main stage. All for a meager top prize of $5,000 USD when MLG makes like 20million in income?
I hope Blizzard adds LAN soon and NASL does things better.

Pretty sure nani went 20-0 today.

Says he dropped a game to Machine. Insane streak either way.

Shows that you should enforce rules equally.
I know thats comparing irl to a game but the principle is the same. Set the rules..follow the rules.. enforce the rules.
If you love rules so much why don't you marry them?
Listen here 17 posts poster.
If you keep posting like that, you won't last long here.
Teach me the ways of the teamliquid forums, please.
Nice edit. Saw your original smartass reply.
You might think I'm some elitist or something, but Teamliquid expects a higher quality of post, thats what makes it what it is. If you want to post like you do, there are plenty of other forums you can do it at.
See you got a temp ban already, didn't take you long =/
