cmon man it is so blatantly obvious lag was a huge factor in the outcome of that match, but it seems as if they're just ignoring what happened.

It's an anti-piracy measure. People could pirate the game, use LAN with programs like Hamachi and essentially never log onto BNET making them unbannable. It sucks for ESPORTS but it's a business and it's all about the money!

Well MLG can't control lag, it's because Blizzard doesn't give us LAN support.

Exactly. Destroying the life time of their own product is not a good way to make money.


Im sure they can have a LAN connection for the players and still have a BNet connection. This way as long as bnet is up you can play but in LAN you can avoid outside server issues in game when playing against eachother. The lag that you are seeing is not a simple bnet connection but a connection between the players and the server they are connected to.
