If Artosis can remain objective, based on his analysis during team league plays of whom to send out and what to do, the World team may be able to do some damage. The problem is no amount of coaching will be able to keep the foreigners from choking and that's really what it will come down to in my opinion. Even if the World and Koreans were on equal footing skill wise, the home field advantage, the booth experience in GSLs, the fact that all Koreans are from the same country/city/environment, etc. etc. That is enough to make all the difference - and that is IF they were all of equal skill levels.
But I mean they got San and MC and July and Nestea, not to mention all the brilliance of Boxer that will get passed unto them through Cella.
Edit: That being said, it's definitely going to be awesome regardless of the outcome. I love the fact that Gom is doing this; hopefully they will keep it going. The only way I can take Esports seriously in the West is if they rival Koreans and this is a good first step.

One thing I noticed though is that the western team has a lot of players who are just 'good' in all matchups, without having exceptional matchups in general. The exception to this might be Jinro (who has a 70% TvZ? I think), but without a strong vs. Protoss I'm not sure who you would send first (because there is no doubt in my mind that the Korea team would send San or Anypro first, although there would be a slight chance of NaDa)/

This is going to be sick! hype hype hype!

This is really awesome : O

|
GO ARTOSIS! If anyone can pull them through to a win, you can. Wheeeeee!!
|
This is going to be so awesome!
Maybe the oGs players will actually be sent out at good times under Cella's coaching.

The coaches aren't going to do anything.
Cella had an impact in the GSTL because he was living with the team and there was a lot at stake so they prepared rigorously for each game.
This team game is just a fun prelude for the real tournament with nothing on the line and the players are coming from all different teams. I doubt either side will prepare anything special.
Picking the order of players is about the extent of impact either coach will have.

He'd also clearly studied his opponents and his own players, knowing exactly whom is weak against what, and who is strong to what. Don't think the coaches wont put in preperation

It's interesting that you said Jinro's strength is zerg because I think July would actually be a great sniper of Jinro given his insane aggression and Jinro's general passivity early game. I think if Cella sends out a protoss, Artosis needs to send out Huk and cross his fingers. I don't think any zerg can beat San (not sure about anypro) and if Jinro comes out, then he'll have to fight through MPV/MKP next/get exhausted and the world is outta options. This is gonna be pretty interesting, I'm excited.
Anyone know who's gonna be casting?

While it's probably not a big deal to you or to the Koreans, it's without a doubt a huge deal to at least a few of the foreigners and most definitely to Artosis and most of the foreign viewers. Don't be a party pooper.

Artosis will have better insight into the opponent's playstyle. But he does not know the foreigner's well. I feel that the world team will be able to snipe some of the koreans off anyway... GOG ARTOSIS!!! if the world team is getting owned just jump in and reverse all-kill the koreans

It's a big deal to me as a viewer, I can't wait to see it, I'm just laughing at the idea that the Koreans having Cella sitting on the bench is somehow going to be the deciding factor in the matchup when in reality the coaches are mostly there just for show.

Considering the World Team League isn't for money, there's a chance the Korean players in the team league won't take it too seriously - they will all play each other in the World Championship for $$$ a few days after.
Some questions to consider:
1.) How big is pride a factor in the world team league? 2.) How serious are they going to take it compared to the foreigners? 3.) How much strategy do they want to reveal to each other?
I guess we won't know until they play. I'm crossing my fingers the players won't pull any punches and show the viewers some unique cheese or unique build orders that they might be saving for the GSL WC.

While that may or may not be true, what Cella without a doubt brings to the Korean team is the fact is he's involved with team liquid via streaming and most likely checking up on the site, and unlike the other coaches this gives him experience with who the foreigner they are facing are, even if he just mentions only their main styles to his team, that will have quite a big impact I find in the matches next week.

I'd go so far as to say Cella knows more about foreign players than any other Korean coach or player, considering how much he interacts with the foreign scene and how many games he's played on NA and EU. He's over 1k games/top 200 on NA alone if sc2ranks is correct.
Yeah, it's nothing game-breaking and the players still have to play the games, but it's a really fun thing to think about. Cella really is the Korean who knows the most about foreign players. Artosis is the foreigner who knows the most about Korean players. HYPE HYPE HYPE!
