ZeNex JJun was impressive. I have a feeling he'll be in Code S soon enough.

That is something a lot of terrans could go late game but don't..... nothing beats them except brood lords.

Well, ultras do, but everything else beats ultras.

This is why GOM can't be giving foreigners Code A spots. Don't think Moonglade was ready for GSL

Wut?

How do you expect westerners without a huge bank to establish themselves in Korea? For a foreigner to go to the GSL, its a very expensive venture.
Maybe look at HuK advancing 2 - 0 to see WHY they should continue to give seeds out.

Also, it creates more of a global audience which = more money, = bigger esports scene.

Think before you speak. A couple of losses doesn't mean the system is flawed.

That is how you play terran..... These large large maps have certainly changed the terran mind set, and on 3 bases, what the fuck can you do??

not get "killed" by some blueflame hellions. evrything snowballed from that. cause of that he couldnt properly defend the first big push so he lost 2 hatches/expansions. at that point it was over.

Actually... Moonglade defended the blue-flame hellions pretty much perfectly, considering what his opening was (speedling/banes). The multi-pronged push is actually incredibly hard to defend if the Terran actually has good macro, which JJun did. I wouldn't say Moonglade played poorly at all, it just looks like it from an observer's perspective.

Moonglade may have lost minimal drones, but they were kept away from mining for a long period of time meanwhile Jjun expands behind his Hellion harass and gets up his 3rd. Moonglade's 3rd was late and unsaturated for a bit. That snowballed into what we just saw unfortunately. Perhaps instead of banelings, Moonglade should've gone for Roaches.

Indeed, roaches would've been the better choice, but you can only say that in hindsight. If JJun had instead gone for a stim timing push, roach opening is pretty much auto-loss. I think that's why almost every Z opens up with ling/baneling if they're unable to scout the T tech path. Roach opening is only safe if you actually scout the factory going up.

Losing mining time is also waaaay better than actually losing the drones, which would've happened had he not run the drones away.

I realised mOOnGLade's Mutalisk count was super high and Zergling/Baneling count was lower than average. Might be what caused him to be unable to break through the contain at first? But he sniped tanks nicely~

No this was orbitals/finishing cc's and it was more him just being BM from what I could gather. I doubt he went for a pf wall when he was pretty much cleaning up/ pushing into Moon's natural.

I think he studied moonglade's style hard. Like it's so easy to get ahold of replays and vods of people without a team.

If you see Jinro's interview, you can see how he played on a smurf account. And met Rainbow who he said were probably being played by someone else cause he was doing a different build, and that Gon plays multiple games on that account afterwards to erase all traces of build orders.

You can see the extent to which people hunt and study others' games. Not doing that will leave you with very very small chance of doing well. Xeph also repeatedly beg the viewers not to record his stream.

Probably the main reason why IdrA left also was because he can't practice these new maps well enough cause he has not enough practice partners.

How should Zerg's approach Terminus? go crazy insane FE mode to 5 bases quick? Is there any way possible to deny that quick Terran 3rd?

i personally think they should play it out like a bw map. 3 hatch straight into muta, using only speedlings/spine crawlers to defend their choke. then use muta's to control the map while expanding + macroing up.

How are you going to defend with Spines/Slings when Terran plays a super aggressive style like what just happend vs MoonGlade? It just seems he can keep it up until Zerg mines out a base, then at that point, how do you even take more bases?

Terminus looks like it should be Zerg favored, but the same thing happend against HayPro, Terran gets his quick 3 bases then just camps the Zerg choke, anytime Zerg moves out with his Mutas he just goes in and takes out a hatchery in seconds, any Hatch that Zerg seems to take outside of that gets sniped by a small group of marines, and there is such a huge counter attack distance that Terran is very safe from any Muta/Ling counter. By camping that choke he stops any creep spread as well, I mean, going into midgame with non-existant Creep spread seems hard.

Maybe Muta/Ling isn't the answer on that map

What your kidding he's 12? My god he's so good i'm very very impressed by his play he's just completely out playing moonglade.

He is 17.

Is that in Korean years?

19 Korean age.

There... are... Korean years?

They count you as a year old when you're born or something.

Yeah basically US counts your age since the day you were born out of your mom's womb.
Koreans count the months you have spent in your mom's belly (even though it's like 9 months they just count it as one year).
So right when you are born, you are 0 years old in the US but 1 year old in KR.

By the way Questions, Questions, Questions....

We Chinese also have a similar calculation for our chinese birthday. Basically we start out at one year old and everyone gains 1 year on the 7th day of the Lunar New Year. So actually for babies that are born before the new year, we're basically 2 years old by the time we're a couple of months old.

Personally I feel the interviews are better when John/Artosis makes the questions as they usually know more and can ask questions that reveal more info. The questions are also more professional.
