Really going out on a limb with that one eh? I don't see how everyone can be so overly harsh on moonglade, JJun played it perfectly.

flawless play by JJun, I was so impressed. REALLY made up for Rain's fails for terran spectators.

You feel you can judge whether a player is overhyped, or not from watching 1 game?
He cleaned up Loner to win IEM. He can do some pretty amazing things.

It's one thing for forum goers to refer to the Terran as 'The Terran', it's another thing for the commentators to be doing it constantly.

Why is it that every War3 player chose Zerg in SC2? I mean, Zerg is the anti-thesis of War3...

It's HyeJun...
Jjob is the guy who stopped HyeJun from all killing Slayers in the GSTL (and is playing Ret)
Jun looking good in that first game

Code A matchups are drawn randomly I believe. Honestly there really isn't a good way to guage relative player strength to create proper brackets considering the lack of tournaments besides GSL in Korea.

It was a tough build to counter without scouting it first. I guess the only tip Glade had was how far Jjun went to kill that scouting ovie (canceling his depot just to get it). Regardless, that isn't much of a tip.

Jjun played very well, but I think it's pretty obvious that Idra is in another tier compared to foreigner zergs.

He has been top 200 korean ladder for ages, and beat Loner in IEM Asia. The only other candidate was VTSpades.
That game made him look much worse than he actually is. It was a very non-standard build which was near impossible to scout. I would almost believe that most zergs would've lost to that unless they had somehow seen it before.

Well, if your opponent plays extremely badly, sometimes it may seem you play perfect, but its just the enemy beeing bad. Was the case this game, Terran played solid, nothing more.

That was painful to watch. He just guessed wrong :/
He tried to scout and was denied, he had no clue what was coming, that's really annoying as a zerg when he could be going 4 rax, blue flame, banshees, tank marine. If he opens roach his mutas are delayed and the marine tank or banshees kill him. But I'll agree that was a poor choice to try to go for an attack there.
Hope MoonGlade can come back from this : <

hasuobs protoss lyn terran
there are many more if i tried and it wasn't 5:30 am.
BUT, I think some chose zerg because its different from war3

This terran is really good at denying scouting. Man I hate not knowing what my opponents are doing and this terran is really really good at denying it like that game 1 he did good sniping overlords, lings, etc. Really scary as a zerg.
|
so basicly he should have saced a Ovie immeadiatly after the Terran turned his rinnes around but you have to consider Glade lost already Ovie before.
but yeah that Sacrificial Scout ovie is a basic must to prevent surprises like that.
