I might be alone on this ship, but I don't find Artosis's comments to be as bad as you guys make of it. You see it everywhere and I also think it adds some interesting aspects to listening to the commentaries. You might as well listen to a robot read a transcript if you really just want a "neutral" play by play sort of commentary.
The caster's personal attitude and biases makes listening to the cast interesting, in my opinion; and although it was a bit harsh, it was still enjoyable nonetheless. The only thing I do mind is the fact that they miss out on important details of the match during the bash. So for me, as long as the details aren't being left out, the bashing can continue.

I knew Leenock would loose, ever since FD squeezed his way though.
It just wouldn't be GSL with out one of my favorites being knocked out early.
Edit: Do Korean schools have summer? If so it'll be interesting to see how good he can be with out High-school, holding him back for a couple months

Bad play should be pointed out during commentating, if not they are not doing their job.
And aside from some low level diamond comments, I didn't really hear anything close to personally insulting. And if people get highly offended from that (great insult I must say....) shame on them.
Compare this to Andy Gray's recent comments about female referees in football, this seems ridiculous to get worked up about.. and that is a commentator for 15ish years well known and "professional". + Show Spoiler +http://www.metro.co.uk/sport/football/853433-sky-sports-andy-gray-and-richard-keys-in-sexist-rant-at-female-linesman]
My bet is most people have heard far worse while actually playing their own games on ladder....

Surprisingly (or probably not surprisingly) neither Tastless nor Artosis caught on that. Why? Because they were too busy talking how shitty a player Liveforever was. Their (especially Artosis') commentary is becoming more and more arrogant, and doesn't let viewers to get involved and excited because his "know-it-all" attitude. And after the game ended Artosis still harped on how Leenock was probably preparing against a strat from a "TOP-TOP" player, oblivious to the factory cancel by Liveforever. There isn't even a cheese or anything, but some low-level mind trick (which Leenock unfortunately bought) and timing attack. As long as there is no scv's/bunkers/cannons involved I don't consider a strat cheese, so his strat was valid and well executed. Thank goodness we are now getting new commentators in code A and it looks like code A games might even be higher quality than code S ones, and these commentators will have to compete to please the viewers. I for one am not happy with the condescending tone Tastosis spew out to players who tries to win. (Before anyone says "But Artosis can have an opinion!", I'm not talking about his opinions, but his attitude and near ad-hominem comments.) I've been turned off by Artosis and Tasteless lately because of how one sided the commentary can be. They make it seem like the player they want to win only lost because of the other player getting lucky or somehow trying to undercut their victory by trying to say they didn't deserve it. Having to listen through all the repeated bashing of players last night was incredibly unprofessional, and made for very little enjoyment except for when they were wrong with their repeated "so and so" is so going to win. Once they get to insulting a player the entire game's commentary is ruined because they aren't taking it seriously, and I agree they missed a lot with all their insults. i also thought about switching to korean commentary... if i only would know how.the thinner guy (i think thats tasteless? he always sits left in the screen, so right from the other guy. the one who doesnt look like day[9]) is very annoying. he doesnt comment the game, he only comments the players. he always sounds the same no matter what happens on the screen. if someone he likes plays hes screaming and yelling and lets the fanboy out, if someone he doesnt like plays or just someone he doesnt care about... then he sounds like the average forum troll. You need to be in Korea to watch the official Korean stream, at least that's what that website tells me.

I think Artosis can afford to tone it down but overall I appreciate the honesty and emotion that hes displaying. I definitely think it outweighs the fact that what hes saying is a bit unprofessional. I think artosis can keep this style but be smarter about what he actually says everything will be great.

This got me thinking, maybe LF lost badly on the first game to make Leenock overconfident and underestimate his opponent? maybe I am looking too much into it but I thought the tech deceive was simply brilliant. Though I like Leenock after his game with Clide, I am honestly very impressed with LF's victory.
I found myself wondering this too. Cross spots on shakuras is so unfavorable for terran anyways, might as well go for the rope-a-dope and get ahead in the mind games... maybe? Sure felt that way when game 3 was ending.

Theres so many bad players who dont deserve to be in code S who only got in from all ins (ie. nexliveforever).Hopefully the bigger maps next season will at least make the all ins less viable so people will actually try to learn to get good and macro more instead of the usual 1-2 base all-ins we've been seeing all througout this season.

Devastated that Leenock lost. One of my favourite players by some margin.

No, I believe it's linked to your IP. No Korean IP = No Korean Stream. Your visual novels I assume are downloadable and doesn't check where your from, but rather, the language of your OS.

During the LiveForever game, they were literally mocking his play. Making him sound like an idiot. Horribly unprofessional.
Also, they only comment on things one player is doing, i.e. the player they like. All the moves made by the other are irrelevant. They bother to talk about the other player if the obs highlights something. This has the worst in the code A matches though. They're fine in code S.

I hope Artosis takes this as a constructive feedback rather than an annoying criticism. He is pretty knowledgeable and has a great voice for commentating, but I really think that he can make a big improvement on his commentary by toning down his bashing on players who he personally dislikes.
