I think that Blue-flame hellion harass is kind of necessary in that build. If the drop hadn't worked, he'd probably have lost that, as he'd have had, what, 2-3 more Gateways down.

That was a scary all-in. Ironically, GuineaPig's signature Void Rays would have been great against that unit comp.

No way, August would have just wiped out everything on the ground while he laughed as the Void Ray's tickled his units.

1 base VR though would work well

In PvT it would be ezpz to stop as ranged goons can kite SCV/rines/vults all the way and a reaver insta-stomps this too.

To everyone bitching about that game, that was one of the cooler all-in's I've seen. It was really interesting and SUPER powerful. That's a fuckin' steal.

it might be interesting strategy wise but its still totally boring to watch ^^.

Not as much, because Terran's higher max income on one base means they don't fall as far behind from one-basing against two for periods of time.

Combine that with effective harass and you've got one hell of a mighty push roaring out to kill.

But without the investment in medivac/10 hellion/blue flame, the timing push comes much much earlier. Raven/Banshee/rauder is insanely hard to stop if you play eco as toss

Either that or you're really cold. It's really cold there right now, so they probably just want to stay warm.

The only way to add risk to all-in is to make bigger maps. But even that does not affect protoss all-ins because of warping in.

Apparently from what I have heard it's really really cold in Korea, especially in the booths, so they use it to keep warm and have their body warm so they can move their hands smootly (that's what my Korean friend told me)

Ya but without the hellions, he'd not only have pushed out more units, but zealots/pulling probes would have been significantly more effective. Adding hellion harass + hellions to the army mix was pretty scary.

How many times do hellions have to auto-lose a person in a tournament game to make people stop building them in TvZ/P? is 99% failure rate not enough?

Lol, ye, they are quite useless most of the time. I do this hellion drop a lot in TvP, but you have to get waaaay more probes then August did especially vs a 2-base toss.

Guess that was the 1% success game?

Marauders won the game. Like 15 hellions + blue flame + factories for 10 probe kills, you can't be serious.

You're right the 20+ probe kills from the blue flame hellions had nothing to do with guineapig losing.. thanks for pointing that out! GuineaPig's economy was hurting after those drops.. plus hellions fucking roast zealots hard..

I don't think the original poster meant "how often does massing hellions, and only hellions without any other unit autolose the game" .. sigh
