not to mention you have to blindly make ~20 lings in that case so if terran just stops after 5 mariens and puts down a CC you are economically fucked
nestea fucked up his drone/ling control pretty bad there but hatch first is the only choice really...hency why steppes is auto loss vs terran, im sure nestea expected to lose set 2 Listen to ret. All those non-zerg players telling us just to pool first and we would be fine should get a practice partner and try that on steppes. then we talk again If you pool-first early enough, the first inject will come before you're dead. Also, 14 gas-pool can hold this pretty well. you don't want to get into a long game with economically disadvantage in the beginning of a Bo5. like Ret said, Terran can lay down a CC and be ahead
So let him make that decision to place a cc and get ahead instead of instalosing to any scv-push...

This is really one of the reason why the pros complain about the quality of TL posts particularly in the strategy section

He could easily get a spine up before the rush starts or would have to stall him for like 10 seconds... 2rax can transition into a SAFE fast expo 11 pooler with lings gets fucked and loses 11 pool gives you a very fast Queen and thus a very fast first round of larva. The early larva advantage can go into either Lings or Drones, giving you faster defense or a better economy than a late pool.
Unrelated to that, "good micro" with the marines? *I* could have done that...

Lol trapped himself instead.

Production tab ff sake's ><

Rain kills overlords, has a decent marine force, then traps a lot of speedlings in a corner, kills them, banelings come to the cornered marines don't kill all, but kills a bunch. Definitely cost effective for rain but Nestea has the economy.

Rain can't stim forever, he needs some Medivacs

Mid game and late game you cannot stop zerg unless you are at least on par with bases. once zerg can mass banelings the game is over. perfect micro is needed and you just cant have perfect marine micro every game. Too many variables. Blizz needs to work on this so we can have more even macro games. my 2 cents. Totally agree. Everyone complaining about "noob all in terrans" need to realize that it's ridiculously hard to out-macro an unharassed, competent zerg in mid/late game unless you get some kind of tremendous advantage at some point. But that's what happens when Blizzard balances the game around maps like Steppes of War and Deltra Quadrant, I guess, and thinks that zerg is weak in general when there's a 2 second rush distance.
yup and once zerg has a hundred banes there is no ground army that will stop it. thors, tanks, marauders, it dont matter...banes are just so easy to mass on 3 base and the terran needs gosu micro to defend. and that is IF the marines are not on creep and not being flanked.
lol just look at this game. nestea is just massing banes and delaying while droning up. terran just lost all his marines and has to re-arm..losing valuable time to put pressure on zerg. it is so gg. no way terran can win this now.

banelings aren't fat!
they're just big boned

Still, 3 base mules is pretty important as well.

really can't allow zerg to get that FE or you're behind all game

Maybe so, but that doesn't mean Rain's going to outmicro him. With the way Rain's playing, relying on micro isn't going to get very far, actually it just failed.
