Is anyone else having audio problems? Sorry if this has been talked about since the thread is moving so fast but my audio is garbled and very quiet. It's this way on both GOM and VLC player but other sounds on my computer work just fine.

Ro32: Terran: 14 Zerg: 12 Protoss: 6
Ro16: Terran: 8 Zerg: 4 Protoss: 4
Players left (percentage): Terran: 57.14% Zerg 33.33% Protoss: 66.66% I predicted this when round 64 started. Too bad I don't remember in which thread it was. After watching the matches I think that only Red really deserved to go on, he just got buttraped by the mappool. And that 1 mistake he made with zergling speed.

I'm going to have to agree, I actually said some mean things out loud when I read that post

Then MVP does a timing attack right before bling speed, killing a ton of creep tumors, and making Idra waste a ton of blings to chase them away. Then there was a lot of poking around while Idra gets his 3rd up (gold). MVP then plants a siege tank on the high ground and spread marines and marauders and starts poking the 3rd. Idra manages to fend it off, but reinforcements stream in from MVP and he wins the game.
G1 was on Blistering Sands

you know how to balance phoeonix vs mutalisk battles? remove both units. there. done. perfect balance between non existant entities. but really, pheonixes are fine as they are. protoss is a scary race to zerg, they just need to use more tech structures than just the robo that they've been using since beta ended.

Idra goes 14 hatch, fends off first push, then he pumps too many drones and MVP does a nice timing push with alot of marines and marauders with combat shield and stim vs Idras slings, one spine and a queen. Needless to say Idra loses.
He had very few drones FYI

Sure u can - turn around early enough. Not fly over the cannons without dealing any damage, then flying aways from phoenixes till u lose all mutas. He would have done more dmg if he had just stopped and shot them. He would have lost all mutas but at least he would have done some dmg

FYI: Phoenix are supposed to be able to beat Muta.
Add 1 infestor and it would have been completely different

I'm pretty sure it's rigged. It'll be TvT next match as well if he wins, and it's his best MU by far. Yeah! Moon threw the game!
Funny thing is that there was also a conspiracy theory earlier about Moon getting favored maps so that they can match Moon vs Lim Yo Hwan. But now we are of course reverting to the TvT theory, glad to back on track!

Seems like Protoss is doing fine this GSL despite all the whines and cries considering there were only, what, 12 from the Ro64? Zerg doing pretty badly, when they were downed from 27 (the most of any race) to just 4, the same as Protoss. Terran on the other hand like the previous 2 GSL doing amazingly just like the previous 2 GSL 8 Terran, 4 Zerg, 4 Protoss left.
All this shows is a lot of scrub zergs got in from riding the metagame wave, then died off when they couldn't deal with 2rax and other pressure builds.
Oh yeah, saying Phoenix is good against muta is like saying Muta is good against zealot. In a game with hardcounters, the mutalisk is really the only unit phoenix is good against.

Why retreat with mutas? Obviously they are slower and thats not going to happen. Should have stood ground and fought, kill most of the phoenix by sacrificing the mutas (going to lose them all regardless).

I agree, Terran can 1 rax fe with little risk, but if zerg expos, makes a sunken and makes lings he even then has a hard time holding the expo. This map pool, combined with the elimination of map striking, is harmful to the game.
Every friggin zerg so far except one, has gotten steppes, even though there are plenty more maps available. Why is that?
EDIT: Coincidentally, its FOXMoon that hasn't gotten steppes. in Both rounds
