PvP can produce decent games if it doesnt end in either a cheesefest or "LOLO I HAS ONE COLLOSUS MORE I WIN". zvz is only fun to watch when it gets to lategame (and only if one of the guys gets mutas) else its either baneling play (yeye high skill.whatever terrible to watch) or mass roach/infestor play. agreed. early on i hated TvT in sc2, but it's such a dynamic matchup.

Lee Yun-Yeol also had a distinctive style in the Terran vs. Protoss match-up called Tornado Terran. It mainly consisted of harassing his opponent with Vultures while macroing, and finally emerging with a large number of Siege Tanks that would destroy the opponent's expansions and army in quick fashion.

This requires emphasis. Being completely able to follow that game, I thoroughly enjoyed that display of micro. If you don't play Zerg and don't understand how Zerg works, you're less likely to enjoy it. Not understanding the MU is inherently bad, but nor is the MU inherently bad to watch.

You can't expect every spectator to play zerg and understand the matchup at an intimate level, and for those that don't, ZvZ can be really boring. I'm a terrible player but I can spot good play in TvT, PvP and all the cross matches but that ZvZ was just a mess to me, honestly - not trying to hate here but I totally agree with the guy - of all the matchups I can't tell peoples skill in a ZvZ if it's like those last 2 - just not even entertaining. I hope it evolves beyond that.
