How is it random? Neither of the games were BO losses, PvP is probably a lot more coin-flippy than that. It's really fast-paced and micro-intense, yes, but then the better micro player wins anyway so I don't see a big problem. Because both are doing the exact same BO it comes down to luck who gets the better detonations at similar micro levels? You're assuming that all players have the same micro, and that it's luck as to whether they detonate correctly. Neither is true. If I can't see if a player is better or not as a spectator it makes a match very boring to watch. That's my only complain really. Do you even play zerg? He has a legitimate complaint though. You can't expect every spectator to play zerg and understand the matchup at an intimate level, and for those that don't, ZvZ can be really boring. I'm a terrible player but I can spot good play in TvT, PvP and all the cross matches but that ZvZ was just a mess to me, honestly - not trying to hate here but I totally agree with the guy - of all the matchups I can't tell peoples skill in a ZvZ if it's like those last 2 - just not even entertaining. I hope it evolves beyond that. It evolved beyond that a long time ago. Like I said, there's 4-5 builds you can use, these guys just like to go ling/baneling. You can't fault the matchup for player preference.

Unless it's something awful like Canata vs Frozean TvT. Some players playing certain matchups is just not fun to watch. Fun is a relative term. People need to remember that.

If I can't see if a player is better or not as a spectator it makes a match very boring to watch. That's my only complain really. Do you even play zerg? This requires emphasis. Being completely able to follow that game, I thoroughly enjoyed that display of micro. If you don't play Zerg and don't understand how Zerg works, you're less likely to enjoy it. Not understanding the MU is inherently bad, but nor is the MU inherently bad to watch. I play random and if I roll ZvZ it's mostly roach on the ladder nowadays which makes it a bit more fun to play and watch in my opinion. I hated to play ZvZ baneling wars because it can't deal with it microwise and it's boring to watch too because as said no apparent skill difference can be made out. High level TvT and PvP are so much better. ZvZ hasn't yet produced epic matches like the close Whitera match at GSL vs. Kiwikaki and like 85% of TvT that I watch are quite epic and one can clearly see the skill in those. Boxer TvT anyone? It would be interesting to see how a match between Fruitdealer and Idra turned out.
