How is it random? Neither of the games were BO losses, PvP is probably a lot more coin-flippy than that. It's really fast-paced and micro-intense, yes, but then the better micro player wins anyway so I don't see a big problem. Because both are doing the exact same BO it comes down to luck who gets the better detonations at similar micro levels? You're assuming that all players have the same micro, and that it's luck as to whether they detonate correctly. Neither is true. If I can't see if a player is better or not as a spectator it makes a match very boring to watch. That's my only complain really. Do you even play zerg? Exactly. Those who have played ZvZ understand the intricacies of the matchup. It's not a bunch of dice throwing, and to say so is just an insult to the skill of the players. It is however very different from any other matchup in the game. So a Zerg who is amazing against P and T could be rather bad at ZvZ, which could lead to some upsets. Agreed. To be quite honest, I think ZvZ is probably the hardest matchup in the game to get good at. There is just so much you can do, and so many small intricacies and timings, its very complex and difficult to grasp at first.

You can't expect every spectator to play zerg and understand the matchup at an intimate level, and for those that don't, ZvZ can be really boring. The same can be said about any matchup. The more you understand the game the more you'll enjoy watching it, nothing new here.

Not true, PvP is much more like that, hence Nony/Tyler's quotation about playing PvP or flipping coins. ZvZ has a load of viable transitions depending on the situation, as long as you go from a baneling build.
