What could he do? He was forced to let him mine out, and keep switching between blord and ultralisk to make the vikings or tanks useless. He played it out perfectly imo. You don't attack into PF's tanks and Thors over and over and over. He tried drops a couple times but dropping 32 zerglings into a base 30mins into the game is pointless. You are clueless. So you are saying that he should just never attack and let qxc take base after base? He denied alot of expos. And you think its better to have just corrupters instead of broodlords? Because that's what he did, free up supply for broodlords. I'm going to assume you're retarded since your reading comprehension is clearly lacking. Freeing up food for higher tech units is good. But in this case it was pointless. You don't fly overlords all the way around the map to clear up 16 food. He should of done drops in his base that were effective, that could of crippled Qxc's production, not just throw army's at an incredibly fortified front line.

It was an excellent game from both players. I just think many of these guys fresh in SC2 don't understand BW style play and how SC2 will evolve into games like this when we get a proper map pool. All the people complaining about this game only know 1 or 2 base timing pushes.

My bad on the tabs thing. To be honest, he was using my point of view, so for some reason I was thinking it would show the tabs I had up. After people started asking for more tabs, i started cycling through them....but didn't realize it wasn't showing you guys
Awesome series and big things Sc2casts.com, QXC, and Ret once again. GLHF.tv and Scan deserve my props too, and TosS for organizing.
Vods will be up within 24 hours as usual, on www.youtube.com/schickysc Main Post will be updated. If you missed the last 4 series, they are up there as well. Subscribe if you enjoy these type of series please!
See you next week!

Very nice games, I loved that last one and I really thought that QXC would win it at a few different points. GJ guys.

I know Hydralisks are a no-go in most situations, but it felt like a comp of mainly Ultralisk/Hydralisk would have been a pretty good idea in this case. With the change to Siege Tank damage they're not so hard countered, it would have stopped all the vikings from raping 5000 minerals worth of stuff, and best of all; while you're Ultras are busy spazzing around due to pathing the hydras get to do damage while the vikings are worthless all this time.
(ps. corruptors dont counter vikings cost effectively, mutas do)

You do the drop elsewhere while the Vikings are engaging. That or nydis. Of course you can't just drop. I wasn't saying that was possible that's how rets initial drops got stomped. For instance during the PDd wars in the middle that would've been a good time to attack at another front via drops/nydus.

No with the amount of tanks QXC had Hydra would have gotten wasted. Hydra are not a unit to go tvz. Also you say Muta are better I disagree because Muta have less range so vikings could kite them + there were thors so the Muta would have just gotten stomped. Corruptors were the best choice as muta would have gotten rolled along with Hydra.

Every resource is pretty important when you have half the bases of your opponent. By the time the slow BCs made it anywhere that would make them useful, ret would have had something to destroy it.

ggs, unfortunately the casting and especially the observing was kinda mediocre. definitely watchable though, so i won't complain too much.

Really dont want to go into details what they should have done tbh (they can do that themselves). I just think it was an awesome series to watch. Respect for the players and the people who made it possible. Epic series thanks!

I think when u were making ultras facing thors and tanks ret u cud have NP all the thors, apart from that you played that pretty well, pretty awesome macro as expected of you =P

Nevertheless, the roll out at the end with 2 CCs and 3 barracks was just epic, as if I was watching some crazy hollywood film, unrealistic, but cool. Great showmatch, thank you .

Can we please please please get a replay of the 7th game? Most entertaining sc2 game ive ever watched besides boxer vs fruitdealer
|
The way they did casting was that so both casters were looking at the same thing one of em basically put it on FOLLOW on the other so it was just straight up cuts instead of fluid movement. Which is fail.

yeah seriously...i don't know why Ret didn't use neural. It was cool to see an epic game like this but qxc held on way longer than he should've.

Pretty educational game. Gave me a lot of ideas and things to try out. Definitely could use a lot of refinement with my mech style of play oo

even though the last game was very entertaining to watch.. i cant really be impressed by ret for throwing away so many units...
i believe at one point they showed the units losts tab and it was something like 40k lost for QXC and lik 78k for ret =(
