I think Kiwikaki would have done a much better job than HuK.

Kiwi is the best NA protoss by far.

Huk isn't terrible he's just never had the decision making of a high level player. It's not something new, it has always been his flaw

what you might wanna check again lol

Tyler's right, wtf is this Kiwi is the best Protoss in North America shit? Kiwi is clearly number 2 after Incontrol. Then probably Huk, Suggy, TTOne.

Incontrol is the best protoss in NA? What have you been smoking and where can I get some?

I was gonna say, the terms "best Protoss," "North America" and "Incontrol" do not belong in the same sentence. I didn't even know Incontrol was P, he's such a nonfactor in the pro scene.

It is live, damn it. Otherwise Tasteless wouldn't be making sarcastic comments when they are showing the bracket.

Wow, do you really not understand? It was live when Tasteless casted it, they've just recorded that and are now showing it. Like, how could you even think that they're casting pre-recorded VoDs like that, showing the players?

Most professional "live" events are delayed to some extent. But I'm sure they won't do it hours in advance, with people being able to spoil the results so easily.

Way offbase on TLO. He was on the razor's edge against Hyperdub in gsl1 and made him uncomfortable enough that hyper did a super all-in on a 4 player map.

Wat? Did you actually watch the games? Hyperdub dominated all 3 sets but made a few huge blunders in game one (attacking into a choke, his vikings getting hit by the nuke), other than that it was his total domination. Game one he outmacro'd and contained TLO completely, game 2 he contained him straight from the start and game 3 he rushed him and won.

I get fanboyism but sheesh, it wasn't even close.

And in fact, stepping back a little, I think Huk still has more potential than TLO, BTW. As somebody mentioned already, Huk might not be playing at his potential due to opponents he has. If he goes to Korea, he might improve a lot his game, decision-making included.

These Chinese players play good Korean players constantly, otherwise they would be bad too.

TLO, however, has no excuse like that.

Did you actually watch the MLG? IdrA lost several games and was very close to elimination in several series.

actually Idra never even came close to elimination, maybe he got mildly close to going to losers bracket vs QXC and Kiwikaki, but never ever came close to elimination...

Idra was far ahead of the competition in MLG DC, I thought that was pretty obvious..

Doesn't mean others are bad, just means Idra has the experience + his practice in Korea..

Is that why we know the results hours before the games are shown? IT IS NOT LIVE. They f-ed up with the live stream and are now showing us what they recorded, but couldn't stream at the time of recording due to technical issues).

What? Where do you get those results? There's a whole bunch of site being updated live from blizzcon, giving the results and they match with what is going on.

You guys saying this is not live are completely retarded.

Just for your information that the SC2 tournament is indeed live. They have the long breaks for you people watching for free. For people who paid to watch it for 40$, they get live coverage in every matchup, watch it in HD, no spikes, and can switch through any channel. I'm watching it with directtv and TLO seriously can not play zerg. Just helping you guys who say it's not live....

Huk is terrible. I don't know why fans on here keep criticizing GSL for being poor quality and referring to tournaments like MLG, knowing that best of those guys would be lucky to get into GSL's round of 32.

Terrible play.

This.

Same with the whole TLO story, hyped to kingdom come but ever since the terran nerf he's done what exactly?

It's just a simple fact that asia > rest of the world in sc2 aswell, people will start realizing this soon when all their hyped players make ro32 at best. Only one who actually has a chance is idra because of his background and practise over there.

Agreed completely. The hype around TLO is such that you'd think he is a really good player. He is about GSL round of 64 or 32 level player. Not any better than that.

Not a bad player, don't get me wrong, but nothing like what some describe here.

Way offbase on TLO. He was on the razor's edge against Hyperdub in gsl1 and made him uncomfortable enough that hyper did a super all-in on a 4 player map. In gsl2 TLO was very unfortunate to play Sangho in the first round and would have advanced vs most of the field. Furthermore, TvP is his worst matchup and frankly I just don't like his BO and plan vs them. His macro and micro is still very strong and he'll work out a new plan vs P one of these days.

TLO could crush most of the people in the GSL.

It's really hilarious when people say stuff like this. Compare the level of play at GSL ro64 versus MLG DC. MLG DC >>>>>>>>>>>>> GSL ro64 except for like 4 games. I mean seriously there were some embarrassingly bad matches @ gsl. Idra for example just flattened his opponent. Just wrecked.

I agree, laugh all you want at Huk's failed mothership rush, but at the gsl someone mothership rushed, and then mass recalled to the island expansion, losing the game >.>

ATTENTION: EVERYONE WHO IS SAYING THIS IS NOT LIVE!!!!!!!

I texted my friend at 5:43PM PST. He replied at 5:44PM PST.

I said this: How is the sc2 tournament going? Anyone playing right now?
He replied: Huk vs Loner just finished.

I would say this gives me good reason to think it is live.
