@Xeris/CatZ/AskJoshua and the rest of the folks who came as media. Just so you're clear, there were over 50 press people in the venue this weekend, and then dozens of other community sites. If we allowed all press in the tournament area, there wouldn't be room for competitors. And before you say "well just let community sites in" then you're talking about us playing favorites with all the community sites. That just never ends well. Equal access for everyone.
The most important thing to MLG is the sanctity of the COMPETITION. that means protecting the competitors as much as we can.

If you wish to protect the competitors you best invest in some sound proof booths or fix the crowd issue. It seriously compromises the competitive nature of the game and potentially can skew or alter game results.
That being said, I was at the event and MLG did a fantastic job compared to what I (Viewed online at least, for Raleigh). Not saying Raleigh was bad, just saying the improvements were huge. Of course, venue might have a lot to do with that as well. In any case, keep up the great work. You posting on TL is also really appreciated I'm sure by us all.
Super props and keep up the good work!
