The crowd was chanting for a mothership. Huk made one, and the crowd went wild, obviously alerting his opponent that something was up. Huk typed in the chat, "Don't worry, thats halo" as a joke indicating that everyone was cheering for halo, and not because he just made a mothership.

As long as you're competing in something that's not throwing dice or playing the lottery there's always going to be some measure of skill involved, the difference is the skill ceiling. StarCraft has an incredibly high skill ceiling and rewards practice much more than other games, it's not even funny. It's an inherently demanding game.
Tbh, I do think almost all other e-sports is a joke compared to it, except for maybe fighting games, and I've followed most of it.

As I can recall, Idra frequently complained only about the early game versus Terran. He complained that Terran can do a multitude of effective builds and you wouldn't even know which one is coming. When asked how he'd change it all he says that there's something missing early game. I think the patches have most surely addressed Idra's main concern as he's comfortable dealing with any early aggression from Terran.

didn't he say

why is everyone quoting it backwards?

I remember that beast setup from when i played WoW,
enha/BM/hpala which just destroyed everyone without even doing anything. They'd just run into someone press 4 buttons and that was the game. It was pathetic. I dont see how anyone can view WoW as competitive. It's a fun game, actually one of the greatest games ever made, but it is hardly competitive

The funny thing is that Protoss never seemed to complain about not being able to scout although it costs a Protoss
250 / 200 to get an observer out and he has a robo after that but it costs zerg 250 / 200 as well to get overlord speed which also gets zerg a lair...
the obs is cloaked but losing an observer to a scan costs the protoss 50/100 and losing an overlord because the fly-by didn't work only costs 100. just other mechanics, idra was complaining about something he didnt figure out yet, he got overlord speed in every single game now and we're going to see it used as the zerg scouting method in the future I am sure. IF (!!) blizzard pays attention to pro's complaining then they nerfed the reapers which was basically fine but overnerfed a bit with 1.1.2 although for idra the problem kinda solved itself already?

It's much much easier to follow starcraft II because it's a 1on1 and every actions are very explicit. In WoW there are much mindgames and teamworks, let alone the fact that you need to know a TON of spell and exactly why the players react to them the way they do. It's already hard to follow when you are playing it, but when you're watching you're often time completely lost or don't see anything about what is really going on (what the players really are aiming for).
To sum it up, it can be very enjoyable when you have yourself the experience of high level arena, but it's really boring when you don't and commentators can't do much to help you understand, you have to experience it yourself.
