What i like about Idras macro games is the tension, the opponent knows he has to attack to prevent from being overwhelmed, conversely Idra sacrifices alot of unit production to macro and thus rarely makes the killer units till the last few seconds. Thats the tension i like in sc2.

Sen is more harass oriented while Idra is more defensive and macro oriented You need to watch Sen stream. Sen's marco is as good as Idra. He beat Silver and Painuser like beating Silver players and beat Idra 2 games in a row...all that in 2 hours of his stream

Problems with his play are: 1) overextending a push, when he finishes off a bunch of gateway units and he's got 5-7 MMs left, he needs to pull back and wait for reinforcements 2) overstimming 3) overall strategy a little anemic

I don't understand this. How is stim kiting boring to watch? They're constantly balancing DPS versus survivability when doing this, until the medivacs are out. Tyler got cute with too many Phoenixes and just had a smaller army.

MMM isn't OP, it's just annoying, boring, and relatively easy to pull off compared to other builds.my problem with MMM is that u can wager everything that your opponent is going to do it, base your build entirely around that, and still not have any sort of advantage

More important is getting the econ lead as P so you can just muscle down a MMM force with enough stuff imo.
